It's the same every year
We hear about all these game changing freshmen coming in and all the past starters having this awesome off season.
We start off around 16-3

Well it feels like it, although it's only been the past 3 seasons. I am used to domination presentation when I go to Alex Box. Guess my standards are too high?

Not necessarily. The talent level and perhaps coaching last year was not acceptable at LSU. I was just saying that it your "every year" comment was a little much. We are gonna compete this year.

I talked to Will Davis at Walk Ons on Saturday after the game. Granted I was pretty intoxicated by then, but I am pretty sure I remember him saying something to the effect of Arby Fields not doing well.

And by domination do you mean hitting home runs and scoring runs? If you haven't taken notice, a major change happened in college baseball. Teams take time to adjust. LSU can't just go out and out hit everyone...pitching is a must. We have a good bit of that this year!

we have some serious talent on the bump this year, lester
i liked what i saw from rumbelow last year and he obviously had a great summer. i'm just fine with him being the closer. i think nick goody and even jim dykstra could do a good job there also, fwiw
