Lets Face It.. Sankey Is From The North He Has No Business Heading SEC

Sankey was born and raised in Auburn, New York. He earned his associate's degree from Cayuga Community College and an undergraduate degree in education from the State University of New York at Cortland in 1987.
While working as the director of intramural sports at Utica College, he earned his master's degree in education from Syracuse University's School of Education in 1993. Sankey began his career as the director of intramural sports at Utica College. Sankey married his wife Cathy in November 1988 in New York.
LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva said Sankey was the right choice.

prefer someone outside the SEC, impartial to any particular SEC school, that would run it competently with all member school interests first

You hire the best person for the job. Where they’re from shouldn’t be a factor. In fact, it’s probably better that he’s not from the south. You want somebody from Alabama?

The problem isn’t where he’s from. The problem is that he just isn’t very smart. And he lacks the temperament for the job.

In addition to not knowing anything about from where he hailed, I had no clue the guy had such an unimpressive background. Geesh.

Where he is from has no bearing on whether or not he could head the SEC.

That is an extremely weak resume for a lot of decent paying jobs. This guy is making $4 million a year? He should feel like he won the lottery. He should be laying low instead of taking every opportunity to make an arse out of himself.

Great in theory, and I agree, but once you settle in Birmingham, the gumps own you.
You think sanky ever has to pay for his own meal in an expensive restaurant in B'ham if there's a rich gump booster in the house??
Put the SEC office in facking Syracuse, New York if you want objectivity.
