really weird that chavis couldn't see the major issue and fix it quick enough.

As I said, most inexplicable situation in the last 5+ years. They are not in the same Galaxy when it comes to ability.

It was so crazy to see the night and day difference in the defense when beck with went out the game for a bit.

Literally the play after. It was crazy.

Beckwith not starting til way beyond the point of being obvious to everyone, a replacement was needed. This might have been a decision from the man upstairs. You know the same guy that waited 3 years to get PATRICK PETERSON to RETURN PUNTS and
KICKS ?????

KICKS ?????

It is no secret that Miles is extremely loyal to his players especially upperclassmen. Last year it was extremely obvious that Welter was not an SEC caliber middle linebacker. For all the bashing that people did on this site of Welter "me included" Welter is actually an extremely smart and good player that would be more suited for lesser conference maybe and FCS conference etc.... But last year our offense was able to cover up for a lot of mistakes on defense. This year we don't have the same luxury as we truly can't count on our offense to put up numbers when they absolutely need to. It was kind of an easy decision at that point, because if they didn't find a player to shore up the middle after what Wisconsin did to us, than we were going to have a very, very long season.

No, retarded is somebody that responds to information that forms an opinion that can easily be supported by facts (Peterson's return stats and accomplishments as a return man at LSU & as a Pro), by name calling and without an ounce of objective evidence to the contrary.
Since you injected retarded into the conversation and I introduced lack of objectivity/lack of knowledge into the conversation , I've seen something that really makes me re-think my position. After seeing your picture , I can speak with certainty that you, sir, not only
have expertise on retards but with total
confidence that you have "insider knowledge"
on the afore mentioned subject! My sincerest apologies , sir and my deepest sympathy for your photo !

Well Trindon was an extremely effective KR in his own right with many collegiate and NFL TDs. In fact he's stayed in the league despite bringing nothing else to the table. In fact given PP's constant problems with cramping you could make a really strong argument that Tyrann should've been returning kicks in 2010 instead him.

Of course not!!! Although, admittedly, there is no good reason for thinking you wouldn't want to represent yourself on the rant in an honest sort of way. This got me leaning in another direction. This new point of view changed everything. You aren't the guy to the left. You're the guy on the bottom.
Gary, Amber's boyfriend!!!! You're not retarded,
you just like slinging the name around and posting pics to make fun of " retards. " ha ha. You're just a lazy fat arse that hides behind 3,4 word responses and like in "the Sound & the Fury" they signify nothing. Once again, my regrets.

Loyalty can be your best asset or your worst enemy. Easier transition for Beckwith vs Harris based on position. I'm not saying we have nothing to play for, but some "B-List" bowl game won't excite the fan base, I believe we see AJ start next two and Harris will come off bench if drives are not productive. I would have to imagine the birds are chirping in Harris' ear about transferring based on what history has shown us regarding Miles' loyalty and Miles needs to squash that ASAP

Beckwith is a killer. I'm just glad that he's finally the starter. Really makes me feel better about our defense as a whole for next year. Should have been done sooner, but there's nothing that we as fans can do about it.

So, if Beckwith has a legit shot at leaving after next year, do we see Feist or Garrett back him up?

You're right. It takes time. Patrick Peterson wasn't even Patrick Peterson when he got here. He was Patrick Johnson.

There was this future NFL linebacker playing there already, so we did not need to find out. Oddly enough, Minter, himself a future NFL MLB, split time with Karnell Hatcher in 2011, another head scratcher at MLB.

This…
Is the most lucid comment in the entire thread. Let's hope he gets some PT this weekend.

these guys are smart, way smarter than 99.9% of the posters on this board, but they are no geniuses. There are a few fixes I could have made to this team earlier in the year to make it a NC type of team. It kills me to watch them knowing what I know.

Yep. Beckwith limped off before 3rd and 18. Next play Bama runs for 20 for the 1st

Miles discovered that Welter's BBQ rub was, in fact, just ketchup, mayo, and Tony's.
