I didn't know it was possible to contradict one's self so many times in so few words.

With the type of running game LSU has all it would take is a decent passing game to get them over the hump,IMO.More utilization of the TE's and Backs in the passing game along with an improved itermidiate range.

I didn't read the OP, but there is no reason to believe we will be anything but better next year. Losing L. Collins will hurt us, but the comparative attrition this year from the past 4 is a lot easier of a pill to swallow.

No QB. No chance. Not reading all that garbage when that's all that matters.

It really amazes me how many fans think BH won't improve. Because a true freshman has never gotten better right?

Too many important IFs for the OP.

We will always be able to win between 8-10 consistently w Les. I see next yr as no different. We need difference makers at key positions to make a run now.

Adams may be one, LF probably is one, Dupre may be one, beckwith may be one.

I don't see one on the DL right now, and we likely lose our only one on Oline, but case could be made for Alexander or Pocic.

I want to believe that Harris is one. If he is, then we can reach potential. If not, those others aren't enough to overcome poor QB play.

I'm praying Harris can beat out Jennings.

CLM probably has a problem with BH otherwise he would play him more this season, so you can bet CLM would start AJ again next year based on history with JJ before. "Play the man who would give the best chance to win" and that is AJ according to CLM. LSU has a real chance to be 10-2 or 9-3 again next year and on the outside looking in the playoff. Keep pumping sunshine Tigers because there's always an excuse again next year.

He's right. Some of you folks are swimming in ignorance if you think Les is a poor coach. He's above average, and arguably in the upper echelon.

Then again, some of you are probably just swimming in jealousy over the school from up north.

The question is why do so many 3rd year players leave? That trend increased after 1/9..........

The subsequent draft was the first year of the new rookie contract deals. Unless they will be basically a top 10 pick after staying, their best bet is to leave early to get to the second contract, in year 5. I would say that we have a large number of NFL ready guys after three years because of tremendous coaching...but many will say they come out of high school like that...

Anyway, here is a link that explains it...and why the timing just so happens to have coincided with 1/9, coincidentally. But please don't let facts and shite get in the way of a good old fashioned rant.

You forgot to add that our schedule is pretty luke warm.

Dupre, Quinn, Diarse, Dural, Fournette, and Williams with a year of experience. Harris with a full two springs and two falls of practice, plus got some game play experience. I say we lose 3 on the OL, but we will be fine because Grimes and guys like Brumfield will fill in nicely. People will joke, but yes Smith and Washington are two athletic pass catching TEs. Then we get Guice and Ducre coming in as well as Teuhema.

Godchaux, LaCouture, Bain plus Valentine set the DT spot. I think Hunter stays (1.5 sacks) and we replace Rasco with a very capable Bower. Kwon leaves, but Debo has been ready for years and we have 3 seniors at the OLB spots. Secondary loaded as always, but we bring in dynamite 6'2 195lb 5 star cover corner Toliver and #1 JUCO safety Cutrer (who will play CB).

I really like I team next year. I say we lose + their replacement

seniors
L. Collins - Hawkins
Rasco - Bower
Porter - Dodd/Clapp
Dickson - Smith/Gordon/S
Neighbors - Jones
Martin - Battle/Thompson

juniors
Kwon - Debo/Feist
Vadal - Boutte/Teuhema
Mills - Adams
J. Collins - Paris/Toliver

Once you remove the meh positions like TE and FB and guys that practically started like Adams, It's more like we only lose seven people, which is great when you think about it.

Most of the SEC will be rebuilding, and LSU will be improved, but we struggle with quarterbacks and Saban doesn't. Also he has like 8 guys coming back on defense. So it's basically going to be 2011 all over again.
