The issue is that we have to accomplish the play that’s being called and execute better,” Miles said Sunday. “I promise you, I recognize the effort and energies of my coaching staff. You're truly becoming one of the worst posters on here. Quit making shite up and actually read what he says. Or listen. Or watch. Anything to make you look like less of a dumbass would be great.

My pastor talked about this at church yesterday: knowing something is one thing, but actually doing it is another. Theory is useless without execution.

Excellent post

Les Miles needs to remove himself from almost all of the offensive coaching and decision making, but we know that won't happen.

NO, at least not that I can detect from reading most of the football threads on this board.

you and I see things differently...you must be as pessimist and I the optimist

NOT a symptom of catastrophe syndrome which is fans reacting to any flaw no matter how random and assuming it's the end of the football program

I don't see that...I see years of inept offense and under utilization of NFL caliber talent in regards to our record and number of sec titles.

assuming it's the end of the football program, or at least back to the Curley Hallman days. (How many times have I read that comparison on this board over the last month?

the funny thing is I saw this from a lot of the posi tigers as what could happen if we fired CLM...don't just put this on the negas.

He is not becoming he already is. I'm sure there has been a terrible poster banned recently. My guess is that this cat is whomever that poster was. He obviously doesn't have a lot of intelligence.

didn't we blitz on the middle screen?

Didn't our fullback kill us with a PF or fumble near the goal line? or was that 2014?

I feel it's more of a discipline issue. At some point, you need to teach your team to play smart.

I agree. And the penalties that kill us are the false starts, illegal formation, delay of game penalties. Holdings and pf are a part of the game.

Everyone has seen the frantic stare from Brandon to "somebody" on the sideline waiting for a play. That stare is usually accompanied with a look of frustration and confusion.

Do you mean the "check with me" offense that most teams with inexperienced QBs run... No I have not noticed the accompanying look of frustration and confusion.
I think you are just seeing what you want to see to justify ur argument.
And don't put me in the Miles defender category - I would have fired him this year no doubt.

The only thing this post did was find another way of saying that the team's struggles are all on the coach. I think that is well documented here.

what is funny is that if you blame Harris missing this on coaching

you also have to give credit to coaching for the other 10 players executing properly

but of course, that never happens

the logic makes my head hurt.

but i'm trying to understand....

other teams are trying to execute their defense against our offense...just because a run gets stuffed doesn't mean we aren't executing well

And Miles has been shown time and time again, when the other team also executes, then there is no plan B

With Miles "execution" means line up and beat your man. We all saw Henry vs Fournette. Miles cost LF the Heisman, and won it for Henry, with his definition of the word "execution"

Ok so one year out of the last four years a qb did good and if you look at all eleven years there may have been four years where the qb looked ok. Are you telling me that this has nothing to do with poor coaching?

Most on this board seem to agree that execution is probably the answer.

Very simple no one is held accountable, all Leds does is pat them on the back as says don't do it again. watch Saban or Debo when there players screw up AKA the Clemson punter

If we had midgets as wide receivers, Harris would be an ace QB!
