#LSU coach Les Miles: The issue is we have to accomplish the play that is being called and execute it.

Beeffense, I'm sorry, but if you are not even the least little bit upset about the past 3 or 4 seasons then you are NOT an LSU fan.

Miles thinks it is always a matter of motivation, "want" and execution. He never realizes that game planning must me dynamic and tailored.

24 downvotes...meaning there are atleast 24 people in this thread that don't know how any of this works. Honestly I thought there'd be more.

Idiots think "play calling" is the issue. Lol.

#LSU coach Les Miles says he is going to "re-gear" his offense during bowl prep. Here comes the twitter wisecracks.
In five of the first six bowl games under Les, we did a pretty good job with that. It's not impossible because Les is there, but I question Cam and Harris.

If that were true the Cam would need to go!

I love Miles' not executing excuse.
Well, if you run a play, and the QB is well-protected, and the WR is open, and the QB misses him by a mile...isn't that a problem of execution? Not a play-call problem.
But, to most LSU Rant "fans" - if the pass is incomplete, it must have been a shitty play-call. If we run the ball for 27 yards, it was a great play. But the next time we run that play and lose 3 yards, it was a terrible play.

Harris has started one year. Admittedly he's made some bad throws. (And some good ones). So this explains how many years of putrid Miles' offenses? Do you not recognize that there is one common factor over all these years???? Hint: it's not Brandon Harris.

You can only polish a turd so much, after that it's still a turd

No, the problem was that the only real passing we did prior to the Bama game was down the field long balls. BH was not given the opportunities to perfect the short route throws because we were either playing a game that was too close to allow that type of play calling or LF was running the ball so darn well, Les decided why bother with short passes.
As much as I hate to say it, and I wouldn't trade having him for anything, in some ways LF was a detriment to our offense. Like I stated above, he was running the ball so well the first 7 games, we thought we didn't need to work on anything else and then when it came to the grind of the season, the other teams focused solely on shutting him down. We were far too one demensional and the good teams realized that and exploited that weakness. Bama especially went in with the sole purpose of shutting LF completely down and were very successful in doing so. He did end up getting some decent yardage against the other two losses but most of it came later in the game when their defense was gassed. We still lost those games because they both had very good high scoring offenses. Bamas offense is not that good but you can not gas their D.

If he hasn't even contemplated changes on his staff he is either a moron or a liar

Good to see ol Les has seen light and will open up the offense.

So I guess Cam won't be back.

My thoughts exactly, but don't waste your time with this crowd.
