So it was how that victory was secured that you didn't like much?

I'm not trying to start a war; I'm really just trying to understand the problem with the "W" from E Michigan.

Les is goin to ground pound this terrible TTech defense, then he will use the "see what we did against a spread team" argument to justify his philosophy.

what would be funny is if TT actually watches these things called film and does what Bama/Ark/Miss did against us 80% of the time and put 9/10 guys in the box and actually stops our all world RB... I think Im going to win a ton of money on this game.

You didn't actually watch the games, did you? got all your info from the scoreboard? Bama didn't load the box an unusual amount. Most of their domination came from scheme and personnel match-ups.

Coach Miles implied that execution, not coaching, was the problem with the Tigers’ offense this season.

See this is the problem. You can't solve a problem until you admit you have one. I guess coaching has nothing to do with execution. If we had just executed those running plays against those 8 and 9 man fronts. If we had just executed those 3rd and forever downs after not executing those 1st and 2nd down toss dives into those 8 and 9 man fronts. If only.

LF7 ran all over 8-9 man fronts at the beginning of the year. He was facing them the whole time he was a Heisman front runner.

If you think 8 and 9 man boxes was the problem in November; you clearly have no idea what you are watching.

If someones giving away free money, im gonna take it, face facts, Texas Tech wants to be in this game against us, they have everything to gain, LSU has nothing to gain from it. They already know what its like to play us, they played and beat Arkansas, they will load the box, and they will spread us out on defense. should be an interesting game, glad about one thing, its in houston and i will continue my streak of 19 years of attending at least one LSU game...

Tech doesn't have nearly the defensive personnel of those 3 teams.

Does this mean les is going to an even lower gear. Or are we changing the whole transmission?

I'm glad you are going to a game your team is playing and betting against.

Should be fun?

Beer makes everything better, you'll understand when you reach that age, and apparently you havent watched much of LSU the last 3-4 years, you have to drink to have fun watching them play...

He is actually spot on with this. The problem is we need to teach the kids how to execute

Wrong! The problem with his offense is that all 11 men on offense have to physically beat all 11 men on defense. This is usually not possible. There needs to be more deception in the running game and better route combinations/more involvement with tight ends and runningbacks in the passing game. How about we use just a little imagination?
