I'm not saying he never beat him. But I think it would add to his comedic act if he had answers like that

So, no one has beaten Nick/Bama more than Miles/LSU. Seems like that might be the reason Miles is there.

"Have the opportunity"

Are we now blaming Miles for other coaches not lasting long enough in this conference to play Bama more?

Les was more guilty of over estimating his offensive line than any thing else ,all our backs needed was a crack in the front wall ,then they were on their way to the goal line , against bama the crack never happened , normal defenses he wore down !

I expect it will be very hard to listen to. As we all know the man has trouble verbalizing and putting coherent sentences together. So putting him behind a tv mic for commentary is an interesting decision, in my opinion.

Yeah no one has beaten Saban/Bama more than Miles and Meyer, who have both beaten Saban 3 times.

Nah, I wasn't faulting Miles for having longevity in his coaching tenure at LSU. I was just saying that there are only 7 teams in the NCAA that play Saban/Bama year in and year out and thus have the greatest chance of racking up wins over Saban/Bama. And only 6 teams prior to the conference expansion.

You can add Tennessee and whoever Bama's other permanent East opponent is. Are we even doing permanent opponents anymore? can't keep track of the new scheduling lol

Well, he did beat Saban in 07, 10, 11, and had lead very late on 2012 and 2014

Yep. SO close to being 5-5 against Saban. THAT would have been an incredible feat.

About as close as he will ever get again to a National title game. Can't wait to see if he's practiced his English grammar.

Dude, if Les throws any shade on Bama, I will be the first to finalize his name in LSU lore. I will never speak ill of the man ever again.

I can't wait for him to share his advice on how to beat Bama

especially if he talks about spreading them out and/or attacking the middle of the field with the passing game

Well, considering he's done it more times than anyone else...

??. The best that can happen is for him to come across as comical. He can offer nothing substantive.

He will do a great job. Has no pressure since this gig is his 2nd choice. I hope he can land in the job he wants to end he career. Isn't that what we all want?
