No.

Les should have let others get more PT though if Sam was taking plays off.

If crappy offenses and execution are his responsibility, then a resounding YES.

Look bro, you can make little faces and call people stupid all you want... Fact is you're an excuse maker.
That's all you've done in this entire thread.

I'm sorry, I just don't go along with that mentality.
Most likely when you leave your mom and daddy's house or your dorm room and get in grown up world this will all make more sense to you.
Hang in there.

Les Miles probably spent 10 minutes a week around Sam. If anyone should be offended by Sam's comments, it should be Chavis and his position coach

yay someone on this board understand how football works!!

i'm one of the last ones to defend u, but i understand what you're saying, bama has won 3 out of last 4. how do we get LSU to that level? but you use the word "competitive". LSU is plenty competitive and to say that they're not is inaccurate. Bama is on a level of success right now that hasn't been seen since the mid 90's.

LSU is the only team that goes toe to toe w/ those guys every yr and i don't mean we simply play them every year. we're the only team on their level. much like LSU needed good fortune to reach 03 and 07 games bama did this year and in 11.

you can call people excuse makers as long as you realize that you are making excuses to dislike Miles and the program.

care about one... Alabama. That's the measuring stick. Apparently the man is doing something right over there.

So are you telling me that bama players never take a game or a play off?

I don't dislike miles... That's three times I've stated this.
There isn't a shred of dislike for the program in my bones either.
I'm not a sunshine pumper though.. Or an excuse maker.
It's ok to criticize Lm,,,, doesn't make anyone a hater or less if a fan.

I know LSU is competitive .. I used that term to make a point that LSU is better than just being competive.
Our goal is to win 3 out of 4.. Not play second fiddle to the gumps.

Anything less is unacceptable, second place is no good.
It's the small things and paying attention to details that separates us... Leaders taking plays / games off is IMO unacceptable....
It has far more neg consequences than anything positive... Certainly anyone with even a semi functioning mind would agree.

so you're saying that there are 119 programs out there that are unacceptable?

are you saying this doesn't happen at bama? vs tamu this yr? losses to ULM, LSU, Carolina, AU etc? near losses to tenn (blocked FG)

since you care about one other team (bama) i'm interested to know if those failures are due to players sometimes not giving their best or their coaches being outcoached? and if it's bc of the players, is it a direct reflection of their coaches?

Why possibly would any LSU fan care about the other119 teams when the one that's on top is in our conf, in our division and our biggest rival ?

Obv no team is perfect, but bottom line is that Alabama has set the bar for college football now... You either exceed it or you play Clemson in the fricking chick Fila bowl.

I'm just telling it like it is.

Absolutely 100%, he has complete mental and physical control over every player.

Enough of this shite, I don't care that it's almost March, fire Les Miles yesterday. This is unacceptable!!!!

Am I doing it right?

Really though, I was disappointed in Sam's performance in 2012. I'm a big fan and it never sat right with me...from his tweet to Miles to "leave him alone" after 1/9 to his inconsistent play. He could be such a badass wildman. He should've been the next Dorsey but apparently he didn't have the heart of a leader.

Question: does anyone remember thinking Glenn Dorsey took games off? I don't, in fact it was the opposite. I remember thinking the coaches should have benched GD72 because he was injured and insisted he should play and was definitely not 100%, frick you Chaz Ramsey very much.

Can you just imagine how great LSU could be with Jarrett Lee as head coach?
