Remember all the arguments inside of LSU football over Les Miles ability as a coach. The Les Miles supporters kept saying he's a wonderful coach, who had a wonderful record. So now that the rest of the NCAA college football world has a chance to also hire Les Miles, no one wants him?

I think it says more about what Les wants to do. He is getting paid either way and seems to be enjoying doing his podcast and doing tv appearances.

Because he is being paid more not to coach than schools are willing to pay him to coach.

What other team wanted Orgeron?

So your saying Ogeron=Miles?

Being serious though, I don't think at this point either would get offered a thing if both are unemployed. Sad to say but Ogeron right now would have a better chance than Miles. Miles 10 years ago would have a job tomorrow

Posts like this make me think that people like the OP miss Miles and just wanted him to adapt to the game.

This. I think it’s funny that people think he’s actually looking. Oh sure, his agent puts out feelers just so he can abide by his contractual obligations to LSU, but he’s not looking for a job.

So, you think there are lots of serious football programs who would hire Orgeron today?
Can't think of any...

Had to look back but you’re the dipshit that started this same thread 2 weeks ago.

How did it go then?

Like I said then, Les is way too busy spending LSU’s money to coach right now. He just sold his old house that he bought with his LSU salary and bought a new one (still in BR to rub their face in it) with the money they’re giving him now.

To do nothing.

He’ll coach again in 4 or 5 years, whenever that mailbox money runs out.

Les won a shite ton of games with LSU- win one championship and played for another. Most schools never do either. Eat shite and move on. Les did great things for LSU, and was time for him to go when he did.

Asking this now and asking it at the beginning of the season, with different connotation, is really dumb.

Nailed it.

Can't the anti-Miles people be happy he is gone?

Sure, I can get another HC job with all the stress and dumb frick Play Station fans or enjoy some quality time with my family and get paid MILLIONS.

I wonder how some of you people can actually tie your shoes in the morning.

Les may have had faults as a coach but by all accounts, he seems to be a great person and I'm glad for his time at LSU. He deserves to enjoy the rest of his life relaxing and being with his family.

That said, I'll pay good money for a Les Miles / Mike Leach podcast.
