but it is not like he was trolling the football offices trying to bang interns.
except that he was lol. There are plenty of receipts, but Les ended up having to pay off the girls in exchange for NDAs.

He tried to help break them into broadcasting
It's like you can't be a nice guy

Right? Even tried to set up 1-on-1 broadcasting training sessions in private settings to minimize distractions, but this generation of co-ed interns just don't appreciate help like they used to

Having a 114-34 record is not deserving
Welll would say that a HC without a national championship and an overall record 158-107 deserves to get in??

They lowered the threshold to 59.5% supposedly to let Mike Leach in, but consequently made Les Miles eligible again
Didn't know that.
We all know there's only one reason they did this for Leach.

No, sir. He did Les with more than any LSU coach in history, except maybe Oeaux
This one... I think Meyer said it best in swamp kings. "Those LSU teams were scary..the guys were pure beasts... if they were coached by anyone else no one would have beat them"

The his coaching career ended will keep him out for a while

Exaggerated, but alas it does not matter.

Doubt that there are any HC who are in the HOF who consistently mismanaged the game clock like he did. The UT & O.Miss games come to mind, even tho LSU won the UT games only because the Vol's HC screwed up more than CLM.

Had to be the unluckiest coach ever, recruiting qb's.

I'm totally ambivalent and have no strong feeling one way or the other.
And I'm sure there is a creeper or two in the HOF so if you go by that should not be an issue, but in this day and age, it is - fair or not, like it or not.

You think the school of mass communication chipped in for that private studio above vodoo bbq?
Les paid for that because he is that committed to mentorship

That is an idiotic statement.

You'd think he would have been better than 3-3 vs ole Les.

It’s hard to remember that prior to that game, he actually had the head to head advantage over Saban,
Yeah, he inherited Saban's talent ,including two of LSU's best QBs ever.
What was their records after Saban reloaded Bama, and Miles had to compete with QBs that he recruited.

Point is Les had some frickin DUDES and the constant hallmark of his team's was sloppy play, unfocused and careless mistakes along with his trademark poor clock and game management.
Les was a great recruiter and a hell of a character. He sold LSU as an easy path to the leauge, but he had NO attention to detail and imo thats what kept him greatness

Gas, grass, or arse, Les probably ate all three.

Les did not do enough to compel me to give a shite either way.

Les loves him some Les though to sue LSU like he did because he was upset about not meeting the criteria for the HOF then when the wins were vacated. I mean, you'd think that he would have let things go considering that the accusations that came with his firing probably really hurt his family. But no, he sued LSU (who was seemingly patient with him) and brought up bad memories for his family again. It was strange. And of course, a judge dismissed the case.
