Haven't read this thread. Has it been mentioned yet how totally miserable it was having Les Miles as the HC at LSU?

ETA: And Booger was spot-on about Les

"Negatiger" isn't a club or faction, it's a mental cynical disorder that isn't based on any one coach.
With Miles exit I see a number of Negatigers have jumped on the fire CPM bus, never giving a prior 2 shits about baseball discussions.

Miles time run it's course, but it's senseless to flog a dead horse, especially the only one LSU rode to 2 NC appearances.

You know, it is possible that there could be 1, 2, or maybe even 3 major sports coaches that under perform from the same university...case in point Miles and Jones. Im not advocating that CPM has joined these ranks, but it just seems that something is amiss....and our brand name doesnt carry the clout it once did.

You see, the Negas were able to identify ALL of Mile's deficiencies just a bit more early than YOU identified his deficiencies.

"just a bit more early", what a fricking joke. Some of you Miles haters wanted him gone as early as his first season. How the hell did they "identify ALL of Miles deficiencies" so early in his time here? I've seen dozens upon dozens of posts in the past where people have stated that they wanted him gone after (some before) the Tennessee game in 2005.

Maybe not you personally, but there are plenty of fans that never gave the guy a chance. It was time for a change at the end of the 2015 season, but the horseshite about some of you identifying his deficiencies just a bit more early then others is just that, horseshite.

The fricking guy was never given a chance from some of you people. It's pathetic in my opinion.

He had many chances in my opinion. I never liked him and after he lost the NC to Bama that was it for me. It's drunk talk to say you knew how bad he was and what his deficiencies were. He is gone because he never changed, because he thought that was the way and that was his downfall. He got a lot of props for his winning percentage but that was all players, my friend.
So let's let the Coach go once and for all....

Not to start a fight with you Coupe, but this kind of a statement only proves my point about fans not giving the guy a chance from day one. Somebody was responsible for getting those young men on campus and somebody was responsible for coaching those same young men. Unless you're going to use the same frame of mind of "that was all the players" on all the coaches, past and present, it's just more of the "I hate Les Miles" shite that has littered the rant since 2005.

I do agree with the "let the Coach go once and for all...", sediment, but it's the haters that need to let it go. Very few, if any threads, are made by Miles supporters these days.

I'm sure we can agree that we should all get behind the current coaching staff and wish them the best of luck.

With the talent LSU had the last few years, no one underperformed liked CLM. It was truly unbelievable and if he was as bad as it seems we should see a big upswing shortly.

In a earlier post I said that in my opinion he needed to be canned after the 2015 season. I just believe that the fools that disliked him from the very beginning are just that, fools.

Only someone that doesnt know shite about cfb would say this. Where are all these p5 program that had the same amount of success as lsu did during Miles tenure WITHOUT TALENT? I can name multiple programs that recruit just as well as lsu and didnt have near there sustained success lsu had.

Those mythical fans you say never gave him a chance don't count.

You say it was time for a change at the end of the 2015 season. The rational Negatigers were only shortly ahead of you in realizing that LSU and Coach Miles needed to part ways. By "only shortly" I mean one or two seasons.

So, you finally came around to the NegaTiger view of Coach Miles -- that it was time for LSU and he to part ways because of performance issues (that is to say, not misconduct, of which there was none).

Coach Miles was great for LSU for many years. I don't agree with anyone that would dispute this.

I strongly disagree with the OP, the guy who started this thread. "Les Miles never ceases to amaze me"?? How outrageously ignorant and petty. No wonder why many LSU fans get angry at other fans who ignorantly express such hostile and hateful words about Coach Miles. People have a right to get angry at this, because Miles deserves our RESPECT and we should be gracious and classy enough to realize this.

When he was the HC, I sometimes posted disrespectful words about him, but the time for that is gone and he deserves our respect.

I see your point. Maybe we should narrow the definition of what it means to be a "NegaTiger".

Why do you defend a coach you said should be fired?

You did say you thought he should be fired correct?

Likely because he would have been too damn dumb to ever get into that position in the first place.

Exactly. You have lsu fans and lsu posters that shite on our own accomplishments just because they dont like the coach.
