What is about this Complaint that makes it look like it was drafted by a non-lawyer?

I think the complaint was drafted by a highly skilled attorney who knows he has a weak case. I am sure you heard the saying that if your case is strong on the law then pound the law, if your case is strong on the facts then pound the facts and if you have neither then pound the table. I think that Ginsberg spends most of the time pounding the table.
Miles is claiming that his constitutional rights under the 14th Amendment and 42 USC 1983 have been violated. Its not until paragraph 64 that Ginsberg alleges that Miles had a property interest in the vacated wins. If it is determined that Miles had no property interest in the wins than he has no case. Miles relationship with LSU was governed by his employment contract. Do you agree that the work product of an employee belongs to the Employer unless it is reserved by the employment contract. LSU paid Miles to coach the team, Miles coached the team and the win lose record is the product that belongs to LSU.

It’s simple, he shouldn’t have taken the Kansas job if he cared about his legacy.

Going 3-18 just cemented the fact that he was no longer a high level coach. And this is coming from someone who respects what Les did here.

First, it was obvious to anyone who followed college football why Miles took the Kansas job. He did it as a favor to Jeff Long, his long time friend who would be lucky to hire anyone as bad as Kansas football had been since Mark Mangino had them in the top 5 one season. I believe there were allegations of mistreatment of players so he got canned. I'm not saying Long put a gun to Miles head to force him to coach but no way would Miles have taken the job if not for Long. For those who might remember, Kansas was down to a ridiculous low number of scholarship players...like 40 or something. And the limit of 25 signees was still in effect so you "ain't" rebuilding the roster overnight.

Going 3-18 at a doormat program is not embarassing. LSU won a NC under Miles one season and went to the NC game undefeated in another season only to lose in a rematch to Alabama.. I bet that if the Oklahoma State women's golf team? hadn't died in a plane crash, Oklahoma State would not have been in a terrible mindset that week to lose to Iowa State I think it was. If LSU plays Okie State, LSU wins that game despite that QB for OSU being like 42 years old at the time.

Bottom line. Miles was a very good coach, deserves to be the Hall of Fame, and Woodward folded like a cheap lawn chair against the NCAA. BTW, someone said 60% shouldn't get you in the HOF. That is ONE factor.. Winning a NC is another factor. Getting to another NC game is another factor. Winning most of the games in the SEC is another factor. I think Miles has a good case and I believe he will win it.

I was a huge Les Miles fan and loved his family. The more that gets revealed about him the less I’m liking him. I understand his frustration but this is too much.

work product

I would argue that, excluding 2011, the overwhelming majority of Miles key wins were in spite of his work product and were pure luck

LSU's self-imposed sanctions included vacating wins from Miles' record

Not to defend Les and I don’t care about him getting into the CFB HOF….but

I hope LSU reinstates the wins as a middle finger to the worthless NCAA

I don’t care about Les Miles’s feelings. LSU shouldn’t have vacated those wins. How this affects Les to me is irrelevant.

To be fair, KU has some hotties that seem to like coaches. Ask Larry Eustachy about it.

Give him the wins back. I mean they vacated the 10-7 win against Ole Miss when his mom died. I get it - no one puts any value into “vacated wins”, but I’m sure that pisses him off.

Agreeing to some bullshite probation for football was not folding like a cheap lawn chair. It was a sweetheart deal for what happened under Miles’ watch. Vacated wins only affected one guy, a guy LSU fired years prior.

Legally, this lawsuit has no merit and will go nowhere.

Burrow fell into Ed O's lap. Ensminger knew how to use Burrow, and Ensminger got Joe Brady to help with the details.

No shite clown. Thanks for proving my point. That offense doesn't happen with Miles here. Borrow doesn't come
In his Heisman speech, he focused on how instrumental O was in him coming to LSU...making a point to let the world know why he was at LSU and stayed.

For those buying into the lawsuit, here are some points from the IARP ruling that is conveninetly left out if not mischarecterized by the Complaint:

1. The football violation was a Level I violation (i.e. not a low level violation).

2. The IARP Required LSU to vacate wins.
