Agreed
As long as Miles is here LSU will lose 2+ games 4/5 seasons and be second fiddle to Alabama.

Well, better get used to Les being around, he will be here for a while, so like it or just continue to whine....

Wow. 10-2 = sub par. Has Les really raised expectations that high?
I like how LSU fans always point to the 10 win season as the primary metric of success. When you haven't won a BCS bowl game in 5 years, I suppose you have to start redefining "success" so that your expectations are met every year.
Alabama simply points to their cache of crystal footballs over the past few years.

Pretty sure MIles will be tossing Sabans salad for the next seven years. Sure has the last two games. By the way, its Saban that got us here and Saban that set the standard this high with a head coach. And paying as much as LSU has in the past 10 years has nothing to do with those crappy coaches you listed. LSU has the facilties and backing not to go back to those crappy years. Just have to make the sure the correct guy is making the decisions.

They chose SC because of a tradition of using teams from the east along with pressure to avoid a SC-Clemson matchup which will happen next year, both of which have nothing to do with Les Miles. The choice had nothing to do with the better team or worse coach. This is a classic example of piggybacking all of the blame onto a single individual in order to "prove" your obviously predisposed biased
No, it's not that at all. The entire world is against LSU and every employee at the LSU athletic department is incompetent. Haven't you been reading?!?!?!?

Herein lies your problem. You think your opinion is the ONLY correct opinion and any opinion that differs is stupid. Most would call this narrow minded. Since only your opinion is correct, there is no need for a forum with contributions from others; rather, we should just let you post editorials.
Best thought you've had so far

You shut the f up and don't tell me what I should be thankfull for. I am pissed about this season. I don't give a crap what LSU was 10 years ago, I care about what they are today and what they will be in future. I care that Last year was blown because of a hard headed coach that would rather watch his team get embarrased on national tv than make a change. I care that we are paying for 4.5 million dollars a year for the next seven years to a coach that can't improve palyers on the offensive side of the ball. The man coached Tight Ends in the NFL, how many good Tight Ends have we had in the last 5 years? A supposed offensive minded coach, and one of the worst offenses in the nation again. That's what i'm tired of.
Well said. Except to add what he did to Lee. Lost all respect for Miles with that.

There is a lot of what you say in your post that one does have to consider. I just disagree with the entire blame on Les Miles. The buck does stop with him, but a 10 and 2 season with all the issues this program has to deal with says a lot about this coach. It fell short of expectations for everybody, including Miles. But in spite of all, LSU is still a national draw and I guarantee you the CFA group is excited as shite about having LSU. And they are the ones who count.

Yep, Sub par. No conference championship, no BCS bowl. Sub Par. You accomplished no goals you set the beginning of the season. So, when no goals are met, that is sub par. I could give a crap about moral victories and 10 win seasons that get you nothing.
And maybe you missed the part about all the lost players throughout the season.

SO, in all the so called posi-tigers minds, 10 wins equals a BCS bowl or conference championship win. I get it now. $4.5 million dollar coach equals no BCS bowl win in 5 years now, or does it equal 3 possible national championships another coach in the SEC is about to accomplish in 5 years. Or, does $4.5 million a year to an offensive minded coch equal an Offensive team in the past 5 years that hasn't been in the top 50 in the nation in total offense?

This makes no sense. You act like Florida and Alabama have no talent and we should have easily walked thou our schedule. Such stupid logic

You expect to win the NC when your starting a QB with no experience in the SEC and you lose your top OL right out the gate? Big dog, its clear your knowledge of football is sub-par.
Question, do you think Bobby Bowden was a great coach?
I mean, he coached for almost 40 years and from what your saying, if he didnt put up 37 NC's then he is a sub-par coach right? You people who want to throw Les to the wolfes make me laugh and shake my head. The dude has the second most wins in college football in the last 7 years. He's had success that no other LSU coach has had. But because he isnt winning NC's and SEC titles every year you want to boot him. I got news for you big girl, there aint a coach out there that can accomplish the lofty goals your setting for this team. All a coach should be expected to do is be in the hunt for the NC every year. Every now and then your gonna get one if your in the hunt every year. And that is where we are, every year. Dont all of a sudden turn into a Les Miles supporter next year when he is hoisting that crystal ball you bandwagon son of a
