And when is the last team a Les Miles team played an entire season like a top 4 team in the country? (answer: 4 seasons ago)

That's a big part of the negatiger sentiment. Les is payed to keep this team a top 10 team. We were far from it in 2008, in 2009 our offense kept us from being a top 10 team, in 2010 we played like a top 10 team in about 3 of the 12 games of the regular season.

And Les did as good or better than the coaches that are paid close to or more than him. Beat 2 of them that make more than he does as well. I'd say we got our money's worth this year. Alabama, Texas and Florida did not.

wrong we played like the #1 team. didn't au have 8 games decided by 7 pts or less and had to come from behind against clemson, u.s.c. e, kentucky, ark, u.g.a., and bama?

you see what you want to see.

The #1 team won all of their games. And, playing close games with Clemson, USC, at UK, UGA (not close in the 2nd half), and at Bama is not the same as being a fingernail away from losing to UNC, Tennessee, and Ole Miss. Not to mention the putrid offensive performances against Vanderbilt, West Virginia, and MCNEESE STATE.

Pretty interesting that the average SEC Head Coach makes $2,840,397. The combined salaries of ALL the Sun Belt Head Coaches is $2,871,106.
pitiful.

A million $ here and a million $ there and pretty soon we're talking real money! lol

he is actually 5th according to the list. Go look at it. Saban, Meyer, Stoops & Brown all make more than Les.

Since Les took the LSU job, I believe 2 or 3 coaches in all of CFB have won more games. One is Corch. Not sure about the other/s.

Because his agent knows how to use NFL interest as leverage.

This one season alone, that is true. If we look at a larger sample size (the last few seasons) that is not true.

But as for this year, Les did outperform Mack Brown, Corch Irvin Meyer, and Nicky Saban.
