Miles is the biggest nitwit of a coach this great University has ever seen. A complete and total moron.
It’s like the 90s don’t exist on this board.

Never considered? Miles was 100% going to Michigan into 2007 until LSU offered more.
Not exactly true

All sexual predators should be punished. What is sad in America is that it is so political.
Creeps like Clinton, Biden, Ted Kennedy, et al, are held to a different standard and fly under the radar.

Carr is the main reason he did not go, it was a done deal and Carr put his foot down on the deal.
I think Carr could see the writing on the wall on that deal, Les would have won big at Michigan.
Carr had all the power at Michigan at the time.

Some chick at Columbia was dragging around the mattress she was raped on until her rapist was kicked out of school.
And she was a crazy liar that nearly ruined a man’s life because he wouldn’t sleep with her.

There have been rumors spread here in the past about his extracurricular activities so it’s not that surprising.
Yeah, I heard a specific story Re: Les and his wondering eye. It surprised me at that time I heard it - would not have thought it. The source was credible.

I know for a fact from multiple first hand accounts that his extra curricular’s were more than just lovable ole Les.
+1
Have heard this from multiple people who interacted with CLM in their student jobs, including one who directly received some pretty weird advances. It hasn’t exactly been a secret.

Dude is about as scummy as it gets when it comes to this stuff.
Is trying to bang 20y old college girls wrong?

If someone has some actual evidence of this and not stories they heard from their wife’s sisters cousin, I’d like to see it before I call the man a sexual predator.
Not trying to doxx the girl (or myself) but I knew a girl, circa ~2010-2011, whose job led to routine interactions with the football team & coaches. She did not work in the athletic department. She told me at the time about multiple advances by CLM over at least a 6 month period. Some of it was off-hand comments, some of it was straight up invitations to come to his room at night. As far as I know she never let it go anywhere. She was a grad student at LSU.
The stories I heard amounted to straight up sexual harassment of a student.
I’m not sure what “actual evidence” you expect to see here - nobody is going to come on TD and start posting text messages from CLM.

“Former #LSU coach Les Miles reached a settlement with a student intern who accused him of “hitting on her,” sources tell @theadvocatebr. The decade-old episode surfaced amid Husch Blackwell’s probe into LSU’s handling of sexual misconduct cases.”
Have you seen his butch wife? I'd be hitting on college girls too.

How do you expect me to prove this exactly? It's all hearsay no matter how close you are to the situation, unless you are literally one of those girls who he sought out and experienced this.
Exactly.

There’s more than 1 settlement for alleged sexual misconduct on record? I didn’t know this.

No FB coach will ever beat Curly Hallman in that regard and he was all consensual.

So they reached a settlement due to "hitting on her"? It seems you would only reach a settlement for this sort of thing if someone was sexually harassing the other person.

Isn't hitting on just another term for flirting? When did that becomes illegal? If the hitting on wasn't tied to her job or a promotion? What's the big deal? That used to be how people coupled up.
Not making a judgment on facts, etc., RE: Miles, but flirting with or “hitting on” someone is absolutely sexual harassment if it’s unwelcome. There are a lot more forms of sexual harassment than quid quo pro harassment.
Sexual harassment doesn’t have to be a subordinate or even someone of the opposite sex, it can be anyone. Call the effeminate guy at work a girly man - that’s sexual harassment. Talking to the guys at work about the cans on the new secretary, and it’s overheard by a co-worker who takes offense? Sexual harassment. Happens every day in offices across America, and most aren’t reported or made an issue.
Not implying all you guys toe that line, but it might be a good idea to brush up on what exactly is or can be considered sexual harassment. You may be surprised. In fact it can be downright scary that if you make the wrong enemies who may falsely claim harassment to ruin your career or rep. Things that flew in 1980 don’t now.

Yeah....if there was nothing to any of this, there wouldn't be a settlement

I always thought ‘settling’ meant ‘settled’ or ‘done’ or ‘over with’. Does this chick want more money or something? Because it surfaced, can he get his original money back?

I long for the good old days when after you banged a sloot, she just stayed banged, didn't go around running her pie hole to everyone about it
