I think it’s more that they’re rubbing it in the Miles defenders face than attacking Miles. A lot of people project him as a saintly person and the perfect example of a family man and I think the fans who were more critical are pointing out that those fans were acting as PR members instead of objective fans.

I’ll just never understand not holding millionaire coaches accountable. Excusing everything they do and throwing kids under the bus instead does nothing but promote bad habits and extend problems. You’d think after the tedious backend of the Miles tenure fans would’ve learned this. Sure we wanna celebrate their successes but sticking your head in the sand when they screw up doesn’t do anything for LSU, all it does is elevate a single man above the program.

Honestly I don’t remember the name. The girl I knew worked there with her and when she told me she’d seen him just once I wasn’t sure if it was a hit and run even though she told me it wasn’t. Like maybe the girl was making it out to be more to look important so I didn’t ask her about it after that other than making jokes about it.

These guys at that level should self scrutinize so we shouldn’t be able to say anything they’re not already thinking themselves. If that isn’t the case they don’t deserve to lead “our” program. Let them go coach on the left coast where nobody cares.

Don’t remember anybody claiming Saban was a choirboy or saint the way the Miles pumpers do for him. Plus Candy was much older than these students accusing Miles. The situations aren’t comparable on any level.
