The 05 roster contained 4 top 6 overall NFL Draft Picks including the #1 overall selection. It also contained a future HOF, a multi time All-Pro and 3 first round WRs. Not even 2019 had the amount of talent that group did collectively yet Les couldn’t even put us in position to compete for a title while operating in the weakest period of SEC West football history. It’s the only 5 year span where our SEC west opponents were sub .500 and even the East was down compared to the previous era. Les inherited what should’ve been the next college football dynasty and couldn’t even manage fewer than 2 wins during that time period. For people to defend this guy still is a joke.
