He was getting fired regardless it shouldn't really matter who took his place. Unless there was some unethical politicing for the job by O before Les was fired.

Les fricked himself by refusing to bring the offense out of the stone ages.

He has zero room to talk.

Les was so bad, he got fired for O. Let that sink in....,,,O may crap the bed, especially with this schedule, but he did replace Miles, who was a coaching disaster...

I would say this is more of a testament on how frickn retarded LSU is and the incompetence that runs it

Non LSU fan who respected LSU as a program were all saying WTF after the hire.

Its not just LSU fans

Yeah well we sure showed him by:
1. Immediately undermining the OC that was supposed to be modernizing us
2. Replacing him with his former TE coach that hasn’t coordinated an offense in well over a decade and a passing game coordinator older than Jesus. Modern era here we come!!

The offense played well against some terrible teams. I was hoping the UF loss would dissuade Alleva from making the O choice, but after the Missouri game, you could feel the support for O grow.

People were enjoying watching the offense but I can only speak for myself that there's no way in hell I thought they would promote O. Definitely wasn't on board with that but I'm hoping for the best and if he delivers the worst he will probably gone after the 2019 season.

Well Les and co. did bullshite white about playing RB, then switched him like a week into RB upon arriving. So not far fetched there

I don't see Les as being bitter. I'm sure he's loving life presently. But he can still look at the program since he was fired and believe he could do just as well.

Lol, I love the tough, ignorant talk. He wants to coach, NO ONE wants him as their coach. This board is full of morons who have no clue. Posting 17- 80 thousand times is pathetic. Get a life. You losers bashed les every day

Sad times. Trading 1 coach no one wants for another one no one wanted.

Only bright spot, O gives a shorter time frame before we hit bottom and can hopefully rebuild the program.

The only reason Devin white is playing Lb is because Les’s DC couldn’t recruit them.

I’m just firing back and all the Stone Age bullshite talk. Ed has his deficiencies but he has played better SEC ball in his interim and 1 year with LSU than Miles had put up in his last 2.

Well the hope was to bring someone in who could win more than 8-9 games. Looking back we should have known better that they would frick up the hire.

The SEC was historically bad last year, literally and we still could not hit 10 wins including the bow game

No arguments about his job as interim, he did a great job motivating the team to come out and play with the change literally middle of the season but I still didn't think that warrants him being head coach of the program.

Anyways, I can't control that now. It is what it is at the moment, Hope O can succeed here and have a good year this year

If he can go out and win this season, he WILL have earned my respect. Just not very confident at the moment if thats understandable

Has he though? Sorry that schedule last year was about as favorable as it’s going to get. Considering how stagnant the offense was, it’s hard to argue the results would have been different with Les/Aranda
