never a shortage of dumbasses on the rant. Miles is the winningest coach in LSU history. But to ranters who couldn't coach pee wee he is not good enough. Thanks pimple face freshman and thier dad's.

our youth
on offense or defense?
On offense we have 2 Soph on the 0-line and thats about it, the offensive line that everyone has been praising post UNC. I dont count Sheppard and Randle as they are ridiculous playmakers, and are playing as a result of their talent, not necessity due to lack of depth.
You cannot use the youth excuse on offense, its play calls.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Miles has only lost to 1 non-SEC team (Penn State on a muddy field) in 5 years. I seem to recall that Saban lost to 4 non-SEC teams in 4 years, including the perennial powerhouse - UAB. Saban was also 2-3 vs Florida during his tenure, including 2 blow-out losses.
Anything else?

Fixed it...might be some indicator of talent/development.

Miles first 3 years were great, the best in LSU history. The last 2 years plus the start of this year has been the down low ( the team has not looked good ). This is due to no first string QB recruited and an OLINE that is not good (Miles recruits)

Not true. If we use NegaTiger standards, Saban's first SEC Title doesn't count- he won it using Dinardo's players, 2 years removed.

When it comes to the "developement of players", the only credit they are willing to extend to Miles is for the players who DON'T develope into an NFL- caliber player.

The last time I checked, LSU has as many players on NFL rosters as anyone else.
So do you give DiNardo credit for developing Faneca, Faulk, McClure into NFL veterans

Lately I agree that he can't develop talent, or he just doesn't trust his freshman. I just say its better to try and be proven wrong than never try at all. I mean RS had 2 TD's on 7 touches, I know that's somewhat inflated because of the situation, but still.

"Ill give him this...he has recruited well. and he did hire Bo Pelini... "
how quickly you forget the rant calling for bps head after the Arizona state and Tennessee debacle. Not to mention our outstanding defensive efforts against Arkansas and uk in 07. Give me a break this shite is getting old and sad. So Nebraska wins 9 games and their program is now turned around and in better position than lsu? By the way Nebraska has always been better than lsu before 2003.
We need to let the season play out. Cus guess what we can fire our coach and end up just like Nebraska did for several years.

Why not? Hell- I might even give Jerry Stovall some credit for Rydell Melancon, Lyman White, James Britt, and Eric Martin.

the ability to turn a program around is the signature mark of a great coach...miles however turned the wrong fricking way...

what has pelini done more in his two years than miles did in his first two years? who's players is he winning with? just a stupid argument.

Pats signed a bunch of them because they already knew the defense.

Ya, Saban never went 8-5 or 9-3.
To make this argument is short-sighted, look at the trend, what has Alabama football done since Saban arrived and where is it now? what has the LSU program done since Les Miles took over and where is it now?
