Imagine what we would have done last year with Eric Reid and Kevin Minter... Imagine what we could do next year with Hill, Landry, and Beckham....
Now imagine what it would have been like if we never had them because they went to a school that puts em in the NFL.

I can imagine that.

That's what I'm saying, I have enjoyed Les tenure the most.

Not saying that at all. Just saying he did well on the national stage and improved that position.

Nick Saban would have never let the neck song get out of control

Les Miles doesn't win every game by enough points

That one game where hill had over 130 yards and none of the receivers had 200 really ticked me off.. I do it on NCAA all the time so obviously our passing game sucks

When OBJ and Landry had that game when they each caught passes for over 100 yards, hill didn't have 100 yards rushing so obviously our running attack sucks

Our coach is a buffoon who eats grass

Did I do it right? I'm just trying to fit in

To the OT, you can't blame Les for bringing in NFL talent and said talent leaving for the NFL when eligible. For some players it's correct decision and others not.

Les would deserve criticism for NOT bringing in talent and NOT using that talent to win more trophies - which he does (the latter).

Agreed. I was only upset with the Ole Miss loss last year. Winning 10 games after what was lost in the '13 draft was damn impressive.

The hell I can't.
Miles has lost control of player's dreams.

I don't. He does.

What I don't like is that it seems that the culture has changed from "the team first" to "the player first" and that is something Les might have a say in, and still produce NFL talent.

I believe it is possible that somehow, good old Les may make it too easy for these guys to jump ship early. Sure the big NFL bucks are calling, but they would be calling in another year just as well. And most would not be injured. And maybe bigger bucks if they developed that one or two more seasons would be in the offing? And maybe their presence on the LSU roster and as starters for another year would make a difference between being 10 game winners and being champions?

I'm bi-polar on Miles. Ole Miss loss pissed me off to no end. Other things have as well.

But in no way can Miles be blamed for recruiting talent and then that talent goes to the NFL. Of all Miles criticisms, that is the worst.

Mayock just said Hill has a first round grade.

He won't be drafted in the first but still good to see him graded so high. He's ridiculously underrated.

Really?

Les is going to change the culture on athletics himself? This isn't an LSU issue or Les issue. It's getting paid to play a game. And paid well.

That's like blaming Les for one and dones in CBB. You prefer the culture changed? Okay, I don't disagree. But you can't blame Les for it. You bring in NFL caliber talent, then NFL caliber talent want to play in the NFL when they think they're ready.

You guys have it all wrong. The players would stay for a fourth year to win a championship if they thought there was a possibility of winning a championship. They leave because there's nothing left to play for here.
