Leonard Fournette - the consummate 4.0 ypc RB

Entering this season, LF had rushed 1,132 times for 4,478 yards = 3.96 ypc
So far this season in very limited duty he has 9 rushes for exactly 36 yards.
So he’s at 1,141 for 4,514 = 3.96 ypc
Just give it to him every play and he’ll get you first downs every third play.

Joseph Addai played 6 season and had 1095 carries for 4,453.
Almost mirror images. Fournette has 312 receptions for 2.219 yards so he does have lots of yards from scrimmage.

LF was only ever as good as his Oline. While you can say that for most rb's the great ones can make something out of nothing. LF was never great.

I disagree. Dude was a legit feature back.
I do agree, though, with the prior poster that his weight battles have negatively impacted his career.

He was a great college back who did not have the desire to be a great NFL back. He wasn’t as dedicated as he needed to be. But he was the bast back in college - better than Henry back then.
