He called the 2006 LSU Regional Final win over Texas in Atlanta, to send us to the Final Four. He'll always be linked to that memory for me. I'll never forget his words at the end:

"Get ready, Indianapolis. Big Baby and Brady's Bunch are coming to the Final Four!"

He also called the LSU-Duke game in the Sweet 16.

Enjoy!

"Oh my!"

Weren’t Enberg and Don Criqui a duo at some point ? I think they did the 1982 Orange Bowl that LSU was in . I also associate him with AFC football in the 80s and Bob Trumpy and college basketball in the early 80s. Anyhow, Enberg was a top FIVE all- time guy for me . Very easy to watch a game he called . Smooth smooth smooth.

RIP.

Used to listen to him call the Padres games when they were playing the Dodgers. Between him and Vin Scully, i don't know if it can get much better.

Yeah thats when the AFC west was pretty freaking good with the Raiders and Charges with Dan Fouts and Air Coryelle offense.

One epic game that comes to mind with Enberg/ Olsen announcing that wasn't a super bowl was the 49ers and Charges in the mid 80's. Fouts and Montana combined for 900+ passing yards in that game. Just ridiculous during that era of football.
