Spoke about throwing more flat-footed. Not watching the spiral but watching the target.
Also said he told the RB’s to get into space on throwing downs cause instead of scrambling he will dump it off to them

He is a good kid, seems to get too amped up and make stupid mistakes

This should help his confidence. Go through your progressions. Trust your pass protection.
I get it, the defense your offensive line is facing is different in every game but trust your offensive line.
Tonight he was basically forced to do that because of the injury to his hamstring. And he was a lot of fun to watch.

The biggest thing with him is his footwork and mechanics. He had all night to throw. Just set your feet and lob the ball in there.

I don't think that I have ever seen someone correct their mistakes as quickly as he has. I don't know if that is him being coachable or Lane being Lane but I will take it. I guess I lost faith in LSU QBs during the BK/Nuss disaster. It's good to see improvement.

The reaction last week was so unbelievable to me.
People really need to understand this is a new era and things are not like they used to be. And I’m talking about much much farther back than BK and Nuss lol.
This fanbase has been traumatized for so long it is going to take a year or two for a lot of people to just chill the frick out and realize we are safe now

2 (TWO) - Heisman Winning QBs in 6 years. Including the single Greatest Season that any College QB has ever had.
That doesn’t sound like a Fan base that should be “Traumatized” by horrible QB play.

Well I’m not even talking just about QB play, but you think those two seasons erase decades of deficiency at the position??
I guarantee you could go back to the Score Board during the Florida game in 2018 and find threads calling for Brennen over Burrow, and a sizable portion of the fan base wanted Nuss over JD* well into 2023.

It looked to me like the calf wrap was holding something running up the back of his leg, which was probably wrapped around his hamstring inside his pants.
