So why can’t he just answer it that way?
Does he feel like he’s only required to answer questions if the discussion is on a certain baseball understanding level?

Even if it’s a dumb question, it’s a dumb question the fans are discussing and have been for quite some time. At some level aren’t those the kinds of questions the media should be asking? Aren’t they there to ask the coach the questions we want to ask but can’t?

And I’m sure CJJ is addressing that in the locker room. It’s not his job to explain it us in a press conference. No good coach would do that because if he did recruits wouldn’t want to play for a coach that publicly blast them. You really think CJJ is fine with RISP problem? Give me a break

Maybe she should ask him about his batting order, which is very questionable with who he places where in the order, especially his # 1 and 2 hitters! He relies so much on his analytics and forgets to simply let the guys play, field, bat, and pitch. He has made this team mental zombies!

I watched the pre-regional and Johnson answered the EXACT SAME QUESTION in which she attended. I think it was her that asked it.
