This thread is full of great unemployed NFL OL coaches.
The player are getting paid, and we have kids their same age overseas. The program is sourcing funding more aggressively than ever before. It’s a business. This isn’t amateur sports anymore.
All this to say their poor performance isn’t an unapproachable subject. And in Chester’s case, LSU’s inability to run the ball since September 2024 is directly related to him.
It blows my fricking mind that the center position has been piss poor since Brian Kelly came here. It’s one of the most critical positions on offense.

Nah.. you see these kids get paid like professionals. Thus, they are fair game to be criticized and their play dissected like any other professional player.
They want the $$; then they have to take what comes with it.
They are paid mercenaries and if they can’t get the job done it’s fair game to call them out.
Saw a lot of expensive suits and jewelry on display on the walk down the hill.
Saw some shitty play by the employees on the field.

While I do think he needs to improve quickly, folks seem to not realize that he has kinda been forced to play every position on the line in the last year. There is quite a bit of difference in what a tackle, guard and center do and are responsible for. I’m not willing to throw him out with the bath water just yet, however as I said, he needs to improve quickly!
