Didn't know Lawrence played offense. Defense isn't LSU problem

Did I miss LSU hired a new OC who can actually score points vs Bama? Or did a bunch of new o-linemen that can actually block show up on campus?

Yes he is and a troll.

Any team that wins 10, including a NY6 bowl, returns the number of starters (plus the thread suggested Lawrence), and has this signing class is definitely considered a title contender.

He just wants to troll. Ignore him.

The one position that freshmen can plug and play on offense is RB. We need this to happen.

It’s almost like you didn’t watch Clemson’s QB yesterday.

Clemson’s Dlineman came back for one more season, and he was rewarded. Lawrence provides LSU a similar opportunity.

I agree that him coming back would be great for the D line and entire defense. Especially if he slims up to 290-295. Think he could do some great things. That being said it does not alone make us a contender, and he will have to be far more effective pressuring and sacking the QB than he has been.

LOL. Or stop running slow developing plays repeatedly like fake handoffs on every single play even 3rd and long when burrow doesn't have the fastest release already.

potential championship level defense

And an OC no one wanted that can’t score on Alabama. A stout defense and yet the ReeBots will all blame Aranda for the team not landing in the playoffs

We need some sort of offensive mission next year.

Our defense was arguably as good as Clemson's, I mentioned that to my brother watching the game. 16 pts at the half.

Clemson had 30 pts on offense, we had 0. That's the big difference.

Problem is, we can't count on Clemson leaving us a roadmap. Rarely will Alabama's Achilles Heel last more than one season; Saban won't allow that to happen. This year it was the defense, it won't be next year.

Yes, and considering that from an RB position we have question marks ( no one really knows how good Emery will be) we are almost forced to develop a dynamic passing game which means we need continuity and competency along the OL and receivers that fight for the ball and know how to find gaps in zones. We have size advantages at WR, especially with Sullivan, we must develop that

You must not have watched any of the playoff games this year if you think LSU is a title contender with the offense we showed last season. College offenses continue to evolve and the LSU O was eighth in the SEC and less productive than what we had in 2015.

Yea, returning the whole offense won’t help.

You fool.
