To say Burrow wasn’t rattled either by #47 from Clemson. Burrow was taking shots also and you could tell he was affected by his completion percentage. Lawrence was definitely affected too. After #47 went out it was game over for Clemson.

Might not be mentally but physically he is a beast. Took some hard hits and it never phased him.

Looked pretty clear it was targeting.

You dont know what targeting is.

Queen hit a runner head up, not with the crown and didnt launch.

Had Lawrence been a ab in the pocket maybe but once he is a runner as long as you keep your head up and dont launch you are fine

#18 for LSU was more disruptive against Clem than #2 was for OSU.

Make of that what you will.

Lawrence is a good football player. LSU's defense can make good players look bad.

Heard a stat this morning on ESPN. Lawrence had more overthrows last night than any QB all season.

Burrow had a few throws he would like to have back. But, some were mere throwaways where it would take a great catch or it would be incomplete. He wasn't going to risk interception.

He does not like pressure and it threw off his entire game; timing accuracy; touch, reads.

I venture to guess all his opponents will try more pressure next season. But it was our db’s covering that allowed for the pressure.

I don't understand the need to denigrate our opponent. Lawrence is a great QB - we just played great D and made him uncomfortable.

Clemson was defending NC and riding a 29 game win streak. Lawrence was a huge part of that.

Doesn't it make more sense to acknowledge that Lawrence is elite? That makes our win even more special.

I’m not sold that Lawrence is a No. 1 draft pick when he comes out. He puts up good stats against inferior opponents who can’t pressure him and can’t cover his receivers. But when he had to deal with pressure and throw to covered receivers in the playoffs he looked pretty ordinary.
