We are close.
We are among the first two teams (SEC teams) out.

McNeese St stats

I’ll help, it took from 2016-2022 for them to win 30 conference games previously
So you’re saying Wade has won more conference games in less than 2 years than the program had in its previous 6 seasons? Hmmm.

I wonder how that stacks up with LSU. Looks like we’ll have to do the opposite though and look at losses. CoachMc has 35 SEC losses in under 3 seasons, LSU had 33 total SEC losses in the previous 5 seasons combined.

Meh, who cares, it’s just results. Lol

14 SEC teams.

No chance that 14 SEC teams get in. The committee isn’t going to do it. 2 or 3 of those teams are getting left out, at minimum

2/3 of those 14 are getting left out, at minimum? You think the SEC is only getting 5 bids?

How much money you got and where do we escrow?

Still sad that we can’t at least be in the top 3/4 of the conference.

Honestly doesn’t seem like too great of an ask.

I meant “two or three” not “two-thirds”

Okay, I can get that. Thanks.

I was really curious because of idiotic takes around here.

My take is SEC gets probably gets 12-13. I think 14 is a stretch and 11 is not enough.

It wasn't long ago the ACC was king and SEC was a joke (in basketball). Things have changed.

I think 15 SEC teams get in. South Carolina finishes the season with 4 SEC wins, as their latter part of the schedule eases considerably. And they've played close against Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, A&M and Miss. St. I believe they'll get hot in the SEC tourney as a 15 seed, maybe win 3 or 4 games there, and earn their way into the big dance

No it's not. But the lion's share of resources should only be spent on the 2 sports that matter nationally.

Jay Johnson is a helluva recruiter!!!
BFD. Very few schools take baseball seriously. So he is the tallest midget. Yay!!!!

Few sports fans can tell you who won in Omaha last year. Almost all can tell you UConn won basketball, and Ohio State won football.

If anything is left over after the 2 nationally popular and REVENUE PRODUCING sports have everything they need, then the sports that HEMORRHAGE cash can fight over the scraps.
