National Title...Does anyone know? Matt Leinart was a sophomore when USC won the AP title in 2003, right? Excluding that team, who else?

AP is a paper champion. I think Herb Tyler led us to a division co-championship as a soph but that's a weak title. Only Ole Miss would hang a banner for something like that.

Since the NCAA granted its approval for freshmen to play in 1972, only Oklahoma (with Jamelle Holieway in 1985) and Miami (with Bernie Kosar in 1983) have captured national championships with first-year quarterbacks.

Are you kidding...does the name Tim Teblow mean anything to you? That was in 2006 when UF won the NC.
Are you serious?

I mixed up last year when he won the Heisman with 2006 when he was actually a back-up...

Perrilloux? I mean if this guy can say tebow then perrilloux contributed way more as a soph than tebow as a freshman. winning the sec champ game was a pretty big deal
