They're obviously not flying blind here, with them and the SEC in communication, each knows what the next steps will be

They both know it’s over. Lane ain’t walking through the door in Oxford, and Saban is never walking through the door in Tuscaloosa again. You hate to see it.

All of this is a huge distraction. Lane should pick a date, say 2 weeks. If all isnt settled by then, then the players won't be with team.
