True, it was a narrative promoted by LSU under the prior regime.

It absolutely is false.

I doubt you could produce 15 examples of people saying any of that. Definitely not of non trolls

The hyperbole of some of you people.

I don't understand how people don't understand this.

Is it less important with bag chasers? Sure.

Is everyone solely chasing money? Nope.

Are the type of players people think of as foundational pieces, leaders, and high-quality recruits typically bag chasers? Nope

So what draws these players to you over other teams that can pay them in the range they expect, even if it's not the top offer? Those personal connections.

You said half the people here, which should be an order of magnitude more than 15, so I figure that was a good number that should still be easy to find.

Gonna come down to whether or not we can recruit the halls of the black inner city schools with the guys we have on staff. This is where FW excelled.

That is why two things can be true at once.

Richard anderson and Lamar Brown wavered when they did not know what was going to happen to Frank. In the end, LSU still got them. Frank mattered, but he is replaceable. The things that come with playing for LSU outweighs everything for kids, in the end.
