Can we all just agree on two things?
1. Collins is a douche and clearly an attention whore that would be well-served to shut his mouth.
2. Being from Louisiana and choosing to play elsewhere doesn't in and of itself make someone a "traitor" or a "piece of shite" as many here are claiming. These guys don't owe us shite and can go wherever they damn well please. And this is coming from a BR native that never wanted to go anywhere but LSU, went to LSU and is working on my second degree from the institution.

And is it really that far-fetched that a blue-chipper would want to play for arguably the most successful and prestigious college football program ever?

Some people need to grow up and get over themselves.

If I were a top recruit, I'd want to go somewhere far away from home, but that's just me. People have to find their own way.I'm actually surprised recruits are likely to stay home.

I'd exploit the shite out the recruiting process and weigh every single option, that's for sure.

according to Rivals, 11th guy out of Bama that year. 20th OLB in the nation. He wasn't really a guy that fit Bama's scheme anyway.

He's been a good player, not great. May be an all conference guy before he leaves. Maybe.

It really doesn't, and I'm surprised how many people feel this way. Is Jamal Adams a traitor for leaving the state of Texas? Recruits will play where they want to play, in-state or not.

retty sure he was #1 and like top 50 player in the country, then got hurt

when the dust settled, KWON was rated 3 by position and 3rd best prospect in Alabama. A recruiting class that also included Jameis Winston.

he had offers from just about everybody. i would say he was very highly recruited.

LSU fans are sad. This thread is proof. Not because of what Collins said, but because they still aren't over it

Sounds like LC isn't over it

Probably not. Because they werent as highly recruited, for one. For 2, Bama has won so much lately, losing an in state player is irrelevant. So what happens is, they lose the 10th best player in their own state, but then go and pull the top player from Louisiana.

you really think landon is that much better than kwon?

I didn't mean it in that sense, but yes I think Collins is better.

I meant it in a sense that keeping in state kids at LSU is more important here than it is to Alabama. Under Saban they have yet to "lose steam" at any point in his tenure.

For LSU it is imperative to lock down our state and keep the talent here. Im not trying to make this a Miles bash thread, but it's been hard to keep steam with young players and lack of talent at positions, because our coaching has a hard time masking deficiencies.

He's old enough to know he'll get back lash for saying what he did.

He's being a lil' bitch and it is what it is.

You don't see the same talk about the other La guys at Bama.
