I know, we have to move on...

But if the close calls would have been anywhere close to 50-50, we would be playing Michigan.

Florida-Michigan has happened many times lately.

Bet they are glad they don't have to play UCF.

Ok, got it out of my system.

Thanks

What game did you watch?

We should be 10-2 and ahead of Florida in rankings.

I don't think anything would be different regarding our bowl matchup or location.

If LSU won they probably would be ahead of Georgia playing in the sugar versus Texas

The Peach and Fiesta were decided by the committee as they saw fit, there were no rules applied to those games. They could have very well assigned LSU to the Peach if they felt that was the best matchup. Being one spot behind or 3 spots ahead of UF really doesn't make any difference there.

I don't know, I think GA gained a ton of credit in the committee's eyes by the way they played Saturday, it wouldn't be shocking if they were still ahead of LSU even with us as 10-2

Well if LSU won 2 weeks ago, they wouldn't be a 3 loss team

I suspect there was a LOT of politicking by FL not to play UCF.

Florida has a lot to lose playing UCF. They won't do it

True and False. If LSU hadn't lost to A&M we'd be in the Peach playing Michigan. The Peach was slated to have the highest ranked match-up possible this year after the Semis, Sugar and Rose were assigned.

We should have finished 11-1.

You mean if the highest paid DC in college football had found a way to stop them just one time?

Or the TE coach allowed Burrow to throw it on 3rd and 4 instead of running into a stacked box?

LSU had more chances to win that game than refs had to steal it.

While it’s probably true, I like this matchup better at least for us.

Could you imagine the melt if the offense pulled the same stuff they did vs Bama, against that Michigan defense. I knew they weren’t playoff worthy but they’re still a tough team to matchup against. I think this can be an exciting game to watch vs UCF.

That’s not how it works.

Wasn’t talking about the A&M game dummy

10-2 or 9-3 we would be in the Fiesta playing UCF or in the Sugar playing Texas.
