Any bracket we don’t share with SC I will take our chances of going to the final 4
Out of all the things I’m confident in, I really believe the committee will try to keep LSU and SC apart before the Final Four if they can. Like wise, they will do the same for the big 10 with some of their high seeds

They loss to the only team they beat that was worth a shite. This isn’t some Mulkey hate. It’s a team that has proven absolutely nothing against solid competition.
Can’t believe I’m upvoting a Trouser Trout post, but I have to agree with this.

And it doesn’t help that the SEC is weak as cricket piss this year. Look at the bottom half of the standings. A ton of terrible teams with 2-3 wins. We haven’t really proven we belong as a top seed and the rankings have been fair.
I do think we will prove in the tourney we are among the very best in the country, but with our weak OOC and a weak SEC, we haven’t proven it yet.

Tigers are not in the NCAA deep state.

Insane drop after loss #2
I've never seen anything like it: lose a conference tournament semifinal game by 2 points, and the roof caves in!

Doesn’t matter. Just win

When you have played only 2 ranked opponents all year, a loss in the third such matchup should have a pretty dramatic impact.
Except for conference tournaments WHEN THEY NEVER HAVE MATTERED BEFORE. GTFO with that bull crap. This is plain and simple about Mulkey.
Just wait until this team returns and brings in those 2 studs. They need a savvy PG from the portal. Morris is too unpredictable and lost that last game with all those TOs.

Creme has them as a 3 seed. that loss to Tenn really hurt. Plus the status of Reese.....

What status? Kim in her post game presser said she was in good academic standing….

Pretty big hyperbole don't you think.

the voters/selection committee have been dying for LSU to lose so they could drop them back.
Based on what evidence?

Looks like a 3 seed is coming.
Irrelevant. This is not the year. Last year was the tires beginning to get traction. This year the tires are pushing the program out of the pits.
2024 the program opens up full throttle and begins a level of dominance that will be unprecedented in LSU sports history. It will rival Tennessee and Connecticut. Skip may need to step aside as the greatest coach in LSU sports history once Mulkey is done.

Every bracketology had LSU as a 2 seed in spite of being 27-1 and ranked #2 in the country. LSU made a very slow climb to the #2 ranking. And even once they got there, they were jumped sometimes even in weeks that LSU where LSU didn’t lose a game. They fell 3 spots after losing on the road to the #1 team in the country. Now that they get loss #2 (to a top 25 team) they really tumbled in the polls even though many of the teams they fell behind lost as well.

In fact, not only were we ranked as the TOP #2 seed in last week's bracketology, Creme was making a case that they would've been a #1 if they'd made the SEC tournament finals. But to go from that all the way to a #3 seed, after a two point loss, tells us that he / they were waiting for LSU to lose.......................regardless the the circumstances...........so they could drop them. It'll be interesting to see if the committee feels the same way Creme does when the seedings are released on Sunday. They may surprise us and still have LSU as a #2.
