LSU fans have high standards and can be over the top at times but the criticism of Nikki is deserved. She has been very very average at LSU given the resources poured into the program. Making the NCAAT isn’t just good enough.
The program has been erratic and declining #s at the Pmac say it too. Nikki sucks as a recruiter, she has been lazy on that front for years. Brings kids in that don’t mesh with the program which has resulted in countless suspensions. She has ran off multiple players and coaches on top of it. LSU has not ranked in the top 25 90% of her tenure here while MSU and South Carolina zoomed past us. She has also alienated and pissed off the boosters
We haven’t made it past the first round in years. She deserves the back lash. She should be gone.

She seems like a really nice parson, and I agree that some posters are like cockroaches just waiting for something negative happen so they can pile on.
That being said, the program is a shell of its former self and the blood is on her hands. I showed up almost every night back during the Final Four years and those teams were fun to watch and the crowds were big.
I know that it is too much to expect that you can constantly have 2 Olympians on your team. Seimone/Syl were a once in a lifetime deal. But it is NOT too much to expect to have a program with some talented players who have the potential to win a couple games in the NCAA tournament. The current coach has produced ZERO WNBA players since she got here. The only ones who have made it were Van's recruits. Hopefully the new coach sees LSU women's basketball as a "sleeping giant" and can get the fans back on board. It was like a morgue in there last night. I was sad.

The played the University of Northern Colorado and Sam Houston State. You do not brag about barely beating Northern Colorado. Actually most on this board have played organized sports

Adding to others, for me (and I think vast majority) it is not hate...she has not gotten the job done, I wish her the best. She does seem nice, but as many have said (it is shown in recruiting) she does not work hard enough and this is year 7....
sure some hated on her for getting pregnant in year one and not being married then, having another coach at same time be in the same way and having a male coach get criminally charged with harassment of young women at downtown bar and N doing zero to him and the perhaps resulting recruiting impact (if any), or that she came in and redid all the offices and locker room to be more like TN, but not me, I just wanted to win..and she does not do that in SEC. etc.

Where have you guys been? Losing to Tulane has become an annual occurence these last few years. I really don't have much to add to this conversation. The last time we were talking about the program, last season, I knew this was going to be a bad team based on who they lost and who they had coming back. I don't believe that they'll come close to finishing in the upper half of the SEC this season. So, I'm not gonna get too upset over losses.

Not gonna comment on the loss (I was pretty upset last night after the game), but in regards to recruiting, LSU did just sign a 4 and 5 star recruit today. ESPN has the LSU 2019 class ranked 20th, behind Mississippi State ranked 19th. Definitely a big improvement from years past, and much better than I can remember in recent years. Definitely leaves room for an improvement, and at the very least, needs to happen each year, not just one.
