Lacy's lawyer does not even appear to dispute the fact that Lacy was passing people, only that he did not hit anyone. He also doesn't say that the passing in and out of lanes could have caused a chain of events leading to the accident.
Ask yourself this question. If Lacy was not driving as he was, does the wreck happen?

I don’t think his attorney clarified. I think he raised more questions and made admissions that may not end up being helpful. Witness statements will also be interesting. We’ll see.

We're supposed to buy the statements of his lawyer after all the other possible witnesses have said their peace and he's sat with Lacy and all his friends that were possibly there and probably viewed ring cam and security cam videos... IIIIdk

You wasting your time with Penrod. He is either trolling or has an agenda. All the witnesses are lying, the crashes, while unfortunate, were just an accident. No one caused the oncoming drivers to swerve right and left. Nothing to see here.

Yeah I love all these "armchair" posters acting like they would know what to do. You don't practice this...it is split second. As you said, you see a guy you are following break sharply right, you likely go left to avoid him, unknowing what is actually coming towards you. You panic.

This "clarification" did nothing to help this lawyer's client.
He only complicates his issues at trial because he has now put out a narrative that implicates not only his client's credibility, but his own.
Aside from getting publicity for issuing a public statement so everybody knows he's handling a high profile case, there was no reason for this statement.
