he lawyer says Lacey saw the accident in front of him...
so that piece of information would suggest he couldn't have caused teh accident
Of course he saw it in front of him. He cause the wreck ahead of him by pulling in their lane head on causing vehicles to swerve in both directions bc he was driving towards them.
I don't understand what's so hard to understand.

If he was wrongfully arrested the family should sue the police department.
I’m sorry if I don’t take a defense attorney’s word as gospel

yeah, he passed in a no passing zone with a blind curve and as everyone bailed to miss him, the victims car was struck. pretty cut and dry.

Also interesting that there’s a civil suit against another driver in the accident.
Money grab. This is the person who actually hit Hall's vehicle head on (liabilty) and they're going to go for his insurance policy limits and then some.

Well if that is the facts of the matter, then Lacy caused the wreck. You can't blame somebody for dodging a car in its lane and panicking and swerving left instead of right. So negligent homicide would have probably stuck. Just because "he didn't hit the car" doesn't take away the fact if he drives normal that person is alive.
The defense was that the girl who swerved and hit the guy was following to closely and possibly distracted by her phone. Which are both illegal acts.

Except for witness testimony that he was passing cars at a high rate of speed prior to the wreck
And this is where the lies begin because if you are familiar with the area and the road this is damn near impossible to do

How do you figure that he was wrongfully arrested? Bc his attorney says so?? The prosecution says otherwise.
Not that it matters anymore from a criminal standpoint, but the prosecution didn't arrest him. The police did. The prosecution had not accepted charges. They were putting the case before a grand jury.
Also, it wasn't his sister. It was his mother when he shot into the ground.

I live 2 minutes from the crash site and this is false.

The witness statements will be out soon. Several vehicles and people involved so there will be some sort of consensus on what happened.
Forming an opinion prior to that…

i recall hearing that there was security camera footage too. from the Dollar General near the crash site. Not sure though

There really wasn't any proof that Kyren caused the wreck.
Except for the witnesses to the accident you may be correct

Don't be surprised if there is no "concensus".

the lawyer says Lacey saw the accident in front of him...
It would be if you turned around and came back according to witnesses. It would be behind him if he fled the scene as well.
Why didn’t he stay on the scene???

But if you were on a 2 lane highway and a car entered your lane the wrong way, most people are swerving towards the shoulder not oncoming traffic
This accident was 1.5 mi from my house and I pass there every day on my way to work. Unless you know the area, while your comments may make sense when you say them out loud… you really don’t know what happened.

If you are that close go take pictures and post them.

Geez. DIm dackin'. Such a weak mindset.

I blame media and social media for a lot of what happened. I would never get on a website and harass his family by calling him names and a murderer.
Toughin' the fk up, suga!! You should start an outreach on internet bullying. That might change people and the dangers of it.
He was about to be in more trouble than he already was in. Nobody knows the whole truth of the event of that night no matter what your creepy arse reads on FB. Unfortunate events that maybe could have been prevented, but there will never be anyway of knowing that. Just stop being so emotional about it and making up details in an attempt for this to be more sympathetic towards him as if he didn't make the decisions. It sucks.

You don't have to hit a vehicle to cause a vehicular accident that cause death.
You dint, but if a different vehicle crosses the centerline into oncoming traffic they have to pin it on you.
Lacy’s attorney says the accident happened in front of him. Meaning he was far enough away to stop and not collide with them. So this wasn’t a split second decision.
And again, “I was trying to avoid a car in my lane so i swerved into oncoming traffic” isn’t a great defense.
Posted on 4/16/25 at 2:16 pm to deuceiswild
In your area does it make sense to swerve into oncoming traffic?

Interesting. He’s obviously biased as he should be as Lacy was his client, but he seems pretty certain the criminal aspect of this was going to be over soon.
I sat on a jury for a criminal trial in which he was the defense attorney. His client had absolutely ZERO case. And I mean none. No chance to win the case.
But this attorney put on a great show. It was honestly impressive to watch from up close. I’d hire him if needed in a heartbeat.
