Only chance they have is a shootout IMO

If Leavitt shits a brick like this past week in that environment they absolutely have a chance. Tech was never a threat to punish

But if they beat us it sure as frick is not going to be in a shootout against a defense that so far is effectively pitching a shutout

I think OM has better defensive players but I think la tech will finish higher rated at end of season

OM obviously has way more talent defensively than LA Tech but on the film they are way more assignment disciplined and are much better at tackling. If ole Miss blows coverages once again against us and continues to tackle how they have in the first 2 games we are going to thrash them

If LSU couldn’t run inside vs La Tech, they’re not running inside vs the best DT in CFB

Tech has the better scheme and DC.

A 3-3-5 with 2 5 techs is the weakest base defense vs the run that exists.

Yes players wise Ole Miss is better but this could end up being true. LA Tech DC will probably not be there for very long

True but LA tech had a lot of good stunts and blitz going

You would think so on paper but because it's so unconventional it's quite common for OL to struggle against it in the run.

Tackles put hat on hat, one guard is free to block OLB, other guard doubles NT and he or center climbs Mike

A 3-3 front is a full man down, and when they’re running 2 4i/5 techs it’s more like -1.5

The last three times we’ve played it’s been the same shite. A bunch of boos and wtf looks on LSU fans faces going into halftime. Then LSU wakes up, gets their shite together and comes out in the second half ready to go.

Also helps our QB pissed his pants anytime you guys got pressure. Just a melt down lol. Granted most of that was because of your guys great defense but still just terrible. I almost wish would would have lined up under center in the second half, tried to grind 2-3 yards a pop and kill clock. Esp in the 3rd when it was 13-7.

Not if you put 7 in the box and put 8 in coverage if it's a pass. Guessing which is part of it, but if you guess right it's basically shut down against the run.

Do you even understand the defense La Tech runs, and how difficult is is to run on? I'm guessing not.

The key to this win will be a return to FUNDAMENTAL basics. The Clemson game saw crisp tackling, execution, ball security, discipline. Copy that, again, we win decisively.
