Clemson beat Aggie by 2, Alabama beat Aggie by 17. Who won the Bama Clemson game?

A&M play Bama in Tuscaloosa whereas Clemson was played at Kyle Field.
Now if both had been home games or both been road games you might have been onto something.

Go watch the 2008 Peach Bowl between Ga Tech and LSU. That LSU team went 7-5 that year but manhandled Tech (who was 9-3 and ranked 14th), 38-3.

That’s probably the type of result you should expect. It’s just assignment football against the triple option.

That's very true. Disciplined defenses thrive against the triple option. Not to mention Georgia Southern has to play with their backup quarterback in the LSU game since their starter is suspended. LSU wont play another team this year that runs the triple option so I just dont see how playing Georgia Southern will prepare us for the future games besides making sure our defense sticks to their assignments.

How did GT do in bowl games from 1999-2018? They won 6 out of 18 bowl game appearances. LSU has won 12 out of 19.

I was wrong, Bama beat Aggie by 22. So they are that much better than Clemson.

TALON - So you are comparing a mid level ACC team that has a hard time recruiting to one of the best SEC teams out their? SAD

About the same. Just a warm up game dude. We need to go out there and handle our business and play to our potential. If we do that we will get reps to some of the younger players, especially the rbs. I want emery to get a lot of snaps vs ga southern and get him in the swing of the game feeling at the college level. I think he's well ready lol, he and stingley, they're both so damn talented. We will be fine. Geaux tigers.

Say what? Ucf isn't in the same stratosphere as lsu in regards to football. We simply have a lot more talent than them at every position ob the field...no matter what season it is. Lsu should never lose to ucf, it would take them playing lights out and lsuch just going thru the motions and overlooking them for ucf to have an shot. If both lsu and ucf played their best, lsu would win every time. The desparity in talent is just too large. Sorry, but that's a fact.

AS a Tiger fan or 2 have said the Tigers 3rd string could beat GSU. I think LSU should put their 3rd string in for the first half. That should give them plenty of reps.

That would totally defeat the purpose of our starters getting to play and getting good practice reps against another opponent before we go play Texas the next week. That's just retarded. Our starters will play deep into then 2nd half regardless of the score dude. It's the first game of the season, and our starters need the game reps. Once the game is in the 4th quarter and in control, we will sub in some younger guys and plug them in with the starters to get them experience with the starting unit. That's what I was saying. Not mass substitutions in the first half lol. We should be careful to stay healthy as well be of the cut blocks and shite that go along with that offense yall run.

So, what is the spread for this game, and what do you see the score being? I saw yall got blasted by ulm last season, yikes. I just don't see this game being close at all, too much talent on Lsu sidelines and not enough on gsus. I see something like 35-10 LSU. It will only be that close bc its the first game of the season and we will be trying some things out once we have a big lead. Also, that offense yall run runs clock, which will limit the total number of possessions lsu will have. That's all I got.

Georgia Southern fans are not delusional when it comes to Central Florida when it comes to football.

CENTRAL FLORIDA (UCF) // 10-1
9/11/82 -/- Jacksonville, Fla. (Gator Bowl) W 16-9
9/10/83 -/- Statesboro (Womack) L 29-33
9/15/84 -/- Orlando, Fla. (Citrus Bowl) W 42-28
11/9/85 -/- Statesboro (Paulson) W 35-18
11/8/86 5/- Orlando, Fla. (Citrus Bowl) W 33-23
10/3/87 -/- Statesboro (Paulson) W 34-32
10/29/88 -/- Orlando, Fla. (Citrus Bowl) W 31-17
10/21/89 -/- Statesboro (Paulson) W 31-17
10/20/90 12/- Orlando, Fla. (Citrus Bowl) W 38-17
12/8/90 3/18 I-AA SF Statesboro (Paulson) W 44-7
10/26/91 15/- Statesboro (Paulson) W 20-6

Georgia Southern owns Central Florida when it comes to the game of Football. Central Florida will not even return our AD's calls about scheduling a game. Above is the reason.
