Tech does their facilities right. I drove thru there a while back and I was surprised at just how nice all of their athletic facilities seemed to be. They have that campus looking good.

the tornado demolished the softball and baseball stadiums. So they had a bit of a do-over there. And maybe that's why the baseball stadium isn't bigger, they were already having to demo it and build a new one. Possibly not much left in the budget to build a bigger place.

And besides the tornado, LaTech has been demolishing a LOT of the old buildings and smartly remaking the campus.

As much as I used to love LSU and hated Ruston (grew up there) I would gladly send my kids there instead of WokeSU.

I’ll be there as a student. Hard for me to choose between the two. But I’ve always been LSU at heart

And the problem with that is?

They should be proud. I see that as a good thing.

Just go sit up by the rail road tracks above the right field fence. I graduated from Tech in 2003 and if they haven’t fenced it off it’s a good vantage point from there.

The LSU and Tech admins and coaches seem to have a good relationship. Look at how the basketball programs work together

LA Tech has never been anti LSU like U LA LA is.
It’s a huge deal for them to play Lsu and it would mean
aloft to them if they beat us. But if they did, I’m sure we wouldn’t see them
acting like Tulane and ULL have acted in rather past when they beat us

The university actually made right field into a solid spot for students. Hell, that's what I would do. Just bring a rolling ice chest and a fold up chair.

The right field berm area is fenced off and requires tickets now. Students have priority on those tickets since all chairbacks for the upcoming season are sold out. You would probably be better off bringing a chair and finding a spot around the apartments in Left. Even that area was taped off for the Arkansas series last year.

If you were a college student there with one of those apartments that overlooks the field....how freaking awesome would that be....

Then you have all the balconies in left field, rail road in right field. You could probably squeeze 500 more in those areas. I bet in the apartments which are built up between Apts and field has plenty of room for couple thousand sitting in lawn chairs. 4 thousand total will watch this game in person and have good views

I lived in one my junior and senior years (16-17), it was a lot of fun pulling the couch and other living room furniture out on the balcony and cooking jambalaya. I miss those days.

I was able to find a video I took during a walkoff in like the 16th inning vs ULL.

Sounds like they are in dire need of a stadium expansion

The stadium was just rebuilt before the 2021 season.

They are a good team coming off hosting a regional.

I tried a week ago and found the same information. Had to use some connections to get tickets for a sold out Ole Miss game last year and found out that a good number of tickets go to corporate sponsors with the new stadium.

The problem is I can't get tickets, and I'd like to take my kid to the game......

Those are the Tech Dorms. My son lived in the Condo style forms that back up to the stadium. It’s a really cool setup.

Just go out there and look for tickets that individuals have for sale that aren't being used. (Just like what many do at PIMger Stadium, PMAC and Alex Box)

There has to be a few tickets floating around outside the stadium.........

Basically new stadium after storm hit few years ago. Re-opened last spring with notable victories beating then #1 Arkansas 2-0 and then #4 Ole Miss 13-1 a week later. Hosted CUSA tournament and was one of the 16 NCAA regional sites. Seats 2,100 but packed in over 2,800 for NC State game.
