in all honesty, B Doughty probably could have kept running past third in the confusion and still got the in field hr

Pretty much. I do believe his theory applies when the visiting team wins a suspended game where the inning is not completed.

Well of course, if la tech took the lead in the 7th and lsu didnt finish the bot 7th, and was behind, the game would be called with the result at the end of 6

16 is the most, but we also did it the first time we played Southern, as well as both Tech games.

Yes but I'm also saying if Tech led 12-8 going into the 7th, then scored those 4 runs and then had the game called, the score reverts back to 12-8.

Our RPI is 21 after tonight. We have a series this weekend against #28 Alabama. We have a manageable path to make a regional despite how terrible we’ve been this season

Bama will prove a stickier wicket than tonight's opponent. LSU has been singularly off in conference games at home this season, going 3-9 so far with nary a series win.

Boyd’s World needs report says we can still get to a top 16 RPI still if we win 2/3 against Alabama and win 2/3 at A&M or win 2/3 against Alabama and sweep A&M (and also beat Northwestern St next week. Obviously that needs report doesn’t take into account the conference tournaments but it’s encouraging nonetheless
