McManus was giving the ump the business after that strike 3. The ump is going to have a longer leash for a catcher since they chat all game.

How does Crews go down on a similar pitch as before? I guess it's the pro in him, but he has to know the ump is calling that.

He hasn’t called it consistently, just intermittently, which is the worst as a hitter

Crews always makes the third out. As good as he is, I can't remember him coming through with a clutch hit, 2 out.

Yes because it’s a ball. That’s the 2nd times he’s rung crews up on a pitch he couldn’t hit with an oar.
