I mean to be frank Skip Johnson is about as good a coach out there in college to coach pitchers. OU has had plenty of really good pitchers go through there under him. I dont think it's a program choice thing for Cam Johnson, to start this season he was much improved, still a little wild but literally was good enough to be their sunday starter to begin the season. He just literally lost his control completely 2 weeks ago, sat out for a while and came back today and sucked again.
If I had to guess, whatever coaching he got about fixing his mechanics went away badly these past few games for him.
