O doesn't strike me as living a lavish lifestyle.

doesn't strike me as a money manger, before this ruling he's been paying attorneys(likely hers as well,) alimony(don't know terms of original dissolution,) taxes, and whatever lifestyle he's living, I'd be shocked if he has much remaining, I could be totally wrong though

Alcoholic himself. And too many people would know about it in the Sanctuary just like they knew Sean P was cheating when he lived in the Sanctuary.

Sure plenty on this board would love to have his "problems".
Definitely seems to be enjoying his life ...

Women are the only people on the planet who can fall out of bed and get 8 million, lol. She didn’t do anything to earn that.

The majority are sparse in jurisprudence to support their decision and basically say the buyout was a safety blanket he earned when he signed the contract.
It seems like there was some question of frickery going on with potentially O trying to delay the signing of his co tract to get his divorce in and the Court was literally just trying to punish him.
It’s insane to say his buyout, which is 70% of a salary he would have earned is community property but if he’s rated employed it would have been separate property
I am not an O fan so i don’t care that he got fricked over, but I think thisnis bad case law

It’s more of a South Lafourche lavish version of lifestyle, lol. It’s definitely not a typical version of the good life.

There’s no federal issue here. LASC was the highest it can go.

Coach O’s wife was a pill head, was very needy, and LOVED being in the limelight. She went to Desi Vega’s in NO a while back and threw an absolute fit because they couldn’t seat her immediately with a private table and in the middle of the restaurant. Desi himself said she’s an absolute coo-coo and expects the red carpet treatment everywhere she goes.

Infidelity on her part is my understanding.
If that were the case, and he was free from fault himself, he wouldn’t owe her this money. So that ain’t it.

What pisses me off is if this was reversed, Orgeron wouldn't see much of her money at all. Men get fricked hard during the divorce process. I'm not a fan of his but this is insane to me.

Wrong. He’s been sober for several years. I’ve seen it with my own eyes the man doesn’t drink.

Wasn’t she a partner in the LLC that negotiated his buyout and that received the proceeds?

Agree with this. Seems like a bad decision.

That's new to me.
I know several men who have had their wives cheat on them, they were free from fault, and the women still got the house, child support, etc.
I have one friend who stayed with his whore wife because his lawyer flat out told him it would just be cheaper for him to not leave her because he worked his arse off and she did NOTHING. He's miserable as frick but is going to leave her after their kids are done with college. He will just give her half then and start working (again) towards retirement.

And spent a ton on vacations, cars, and girlfriends. He has been living the high life without working, courtesy of LSU.
