Nothing exonerates Lacy. If he’s not in the other lane in a no passing zone, passing four cars at well over the speed limit, none of this happens. Good job by the Attorney getting all you tools minds warped.
I’m sure if this went to court the DA would’ve have took all the data and put in a program to recreate the situation. It would’ve showed pretty much what would have happen in many different scenarios.

I thought the presentation was solid. I thought he presented the DA’s report and relevant data in a fair and reasonable way. I thought his defense of his clients actions was well thought out and measured. overall, he did his job to prove his client’s innocence without going over the top with accusations or hyperbole. Job well done IMO.

What’s partial about his statements? Please point them out to me.

I’ve done it a million times. There’s a ton of factors being ignored. When the gold truck brakes, kyren was ahead of him in the oncoming lane. So much ignored. There is no absolute innocence proved. No speed of kyren was being discussed. Painting a picture of being “behind” an accident is disingenuous at best.

Lacey passing FOUR cars at a high rate of speed

It didnt look like a high rate of speed to me. It looked like he wanted to get around a wreck and not sit there an gawk for 45 minutes, by easing around. Bad decision, but evidently the funyon eater lied.

not only did Lacey breing in the wrong lane cause this woman's fatal decision to go into the other lane...but another car serves to the right, off the road, looking at "whatever" was hurtling at them.....

There’s only one car that “swerves” (really it looks like he turns into a parking lot) and he only does so a full second after the actual head-on collision happens in front of him.

The video kind of destroys the original LSP narrative that the gold truck swerved off the road and then the driver behind him saw Lacy coming head-on, because the gold truck was still driving forward when the wreck happened.

Then there’s the fact that the lady somehow managed to get into a head-on collision a full second in front of the car she had been following.

uhhhmmm, when Lacy was 72 yards "behind" when the wreck occured? How could anything he did "behind" the wreck contribute to the wreck?

How about you try standing in the street with a car going 65 mph at you 72 yards away from you? See if you don’t flinch or jump.

Lacey‘s actions caused everything that followed, and objectively viewed, there is zero debate about it.

So you are mixing up actions after the accident as opposed to before the accident? Holy hell.

Does the gold truck driver say this?

He may have and I didn’t hear that part.

I did hear the part where gold truck driver states he didn’t slam on his brakes cause he wasn’t going fast. Also he states the girl following him causes the accident basically cause she wasn’t paying attention.

I did hear the trooper coaxing the gold truck driver to say what trooper wanted him to say. I also seen where gold truck driver didn’t sign the report.

no one was standing in the street.

KL had nothing to do with that accident. End of story. He was driving way behind the SUV that had a wreck with the other vehicle. The fact that anyone is trying to say otherwise is a real head scratcher

If Lacy was driving so recklessly, wouldn't his car skidded at the stop? It looked like it came to a normal stop to me. And, he came to a stop AFTER a car in front of him also came to a normal stop.

The wreck happened south of where KL had been passing cars in a no passing zone.

Gold truck driver blamed the accident on Funyuns tailgating him. LSP blamed the still unknown driver of the green charger.

With all the back and forth on this topic, I was trying to verify the 4 cars passed info. Didn't his lawyer say that, or am I mistaken? If so, he either was passing in a curve, or passed those four within the 1/4 mile between the exit of the curve and the location of the accident. Exponentially worse than just "passed a few cars and had nothing to do with the accident" mantra.

There are at least 6~8 things, done differently, that could have prevented the accident altogether, or lessened the negative outcome for Kyren, and almost all of them were within his control. Horrible situation for everyone involved.

You wouldn’t never have to experience that situation. I’m sure you watched the videos and it don’t add up to the first report but hey it’s LOUISIANA. I’m sure you thinking he should’ve gone to camp 47 Monday through Wednesday and u cheer for him on Saturday.

This will be a civil suit where liable and burden of proof will be different. It won’t be about proving the state’s innocence.
