It's Shelton Sampson Jr. time baby

He's got to learn to catch too

He dropped the only pass thrown to him against grambling or army I believe, and it was a walk in touchdown

no but he will be a good #2. i expect one of the freshmen from this year’s team or a transfer to probably be the #1 guy but being a #2 guy is the perfect spot for Lacy.

Nuss + Lacy & the returning receivers need to spend all summer working on routes, juggs machine, etc… getting ready for 2024. The sky is the limit for the opportunity that lies ahead for them.

If he can make contested catches, he’ll do it. Great at catch if he’s wide open.

Lacy is awesome. I went fishing with him once. Great company but he couldn’t catch anything.

He’s honestly a lot like Bowe. Whether he needs eye surgery or just an adderall prescription, Lacy is going to be a really solid 1/2 next year. People don’t realize how good he actually is because Nabers/Thomas are 1st round, elite players.

Who cares. You think this is the Wall Street journal or something?

Not sure about #1 WR in terms of targets but Lacy will most likely by the X WR next year with Sampson at Y. I really want to see Brown working out the slot with his speed. Hilton and Anderson are big ?s. Kyle Parker is another guy who could be special as a similar build and speed to Nabers.

If he returns he would (likely) be the first option to start the season given he would far and away have the most experienced/history of production at LSU. But his issues would likely still be there. It's not an issue of ability (though I think he is still a step below Nabers and Thomas in RAC), but consistency. Lacy can make the great play (ala TD catches vs. Alabama and A&M) then drop a critical third down pass in the same game.

I think Hilton will be #1 next year. I predict he makes the biggest leap forward.

He is elite at ALL of the little things that most don’t see. If he can improve his catching just a little bit, he’s gonna be a HUGE weapon on this team. Assuming he comes back. I think he’s a mid round pick this year if he decides to come out .

I agree
