"On April 27, 2012, the LSU Board of Supervisors voted unanimously in favor of a $80 million dollar south end-zone upper deck expansion that will add 6,900 seats and bring the total capacity of Tiger Stadium to approximately 100,000, making it the 7th-largest college football stadium in the country. Construction began on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, and is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2014."

You can polish scat, but only so much. TS is a far superior facility.

Talk to me when the experience at Kyle Field is considered something every sports fan should do at least once in their lives. Tiger Stadium is legendary. Everyone else is trying to keep up the only way they know how. Spend money. You can't buy what Death Valley can deliver.

Slow down, Witness23.

If I want a question answered by The Rant, I don't ask about it, because I will never get the answer. Instead, I make an outrageous claim, then get corrected by a fellow poster.

100K +/- 5K is the same thing. Kyle Field is a special place, but it is no Tiger Stadium. It never will be on the same level. They could cram 120K in there, and it would still not best Tiger Stadium. Period.

There is probably a law against congregating that many morons together in one place.

Who gives a CRAP? Let those ATM queers build it as large as they want, it wont help them win. They are far away from LSU caliber talent. Ill take that instead of a stadium that can seat a few more.

Isn't going to matter. You can build TS to hold 115,000 and in a dozen years several teams would top it.
