I get that, but he was on the sideline and invited by the university. Cant put the genie back in the bottle but it's not like the dude has a history of predictable behavior. He was (as you stated) a guest of the university and he did not act accordingly.

I agree w what he said.

That said the one thing he forgets is we party a bit harder in LA. Just look at the parties the Saints players had after winning the SB.

Nothing he said was incorrect. OBJ's BS is a headache for Woodward and Compliance. LSU now has to do an investigation of all players who OBJ gave $100/$200 dollar handshakes to. If it was all guys that declared, my guess is that is likely, still looks bad. If some were given to underclassmen, then you are looking at something similar to Chase Young and minimum 2 game suspensions next year. IF these are NCAA mandated, Not sure LSU has a choice when and where those suspensions occur. So, in first 2 games we play Texas.

There will be no suspensions.

Love our dudes but they real real cocky n i was shocked with how burrow had answered that question and some things...

Why? Burrow did what he was supposed to do while a student athlete. He was no longer a student athlete at that time.

What did the players do that was wrong? OBJ slapping money in their hand while they were celebrating is OBJ's issue, not their issue.

Burrow is not a student-athlete anymore. He stated a fact. And he has always believed that players should be able to make money off of their likeness or receive some benefits since their schools make millions and millions off of them.

Again, Trevor Lawrence, the QB who actually played in the game on the opposing team, referred to LSU as handling themselves with class. Where is the problem? Please tell me.

So inviting NFL star former players in the sideline of the NC game is what makes you and Herbstreit take the massive leap that LSU doesn't care about the future of the program.

What did LSU do wrong? OBJ is a weird character and nobody had any idea he was going to do this. It is idiotic to blame anyone else except OBJ for this.

Herbstreit is an arse, any of those programs is capable of that type of shite. Saban has had a lot of issues at Alabama controlling his players. I could easily see Mark Ingram doing some shite like that or Clowney doing the same at Clemson, dude is stupid for saying that. Beckham Jr is a out of control personna that has hurt the LSU brand with his stupidity, but don't make it out to be like LSU is like that period, Herbstreit.

Yeah the players should’ve all thanked god immediately and then gone to church and prayed for the future success of the LSU program.

Bc that’s the only acceptable thing to do the fricking night you finish off 7 years of blood sweat and tears. Give me a fricking break.

Bash Odell all you want. He didn’t do shite for this team and acted the fool. But bad mouth one member of the 2019 team and you can go frick yourself

Well, he’s on a University sanctioned trip to the White House this very second. He’s there representing LSU as a student athlete. I love Joe, but what he said was bullshite.

Nope. Because I have zero issues with paying players. I welcome it. Face it. They are getting paid anyway. They should have to pay taxes on that money just like the rest of us.

Well, you're an idiot, and not because you want to pay players. You're an idiot because you have no problem with a "booster" openly giving your players $100 hand shakes on national TV when it is def against the rules just because you think it should be OK.

This whole shite is ridiculous and blown way out of proportion. It’s like the media is mad that LSU curb stomped Clemson that bad... but I guess since they spent all year talking up T Law and Clemson and they turned out to be just another turd of a team, it made them look like they didn’t know what the frick they were talking about all year (and they don’t)

frick you Kirk. Burrow got a goddamn masters degree while playing college football. While being a student athlete. What did you do?

If only our players had simply posted Twitter pics holding up stacks of cash in front of their new whip, we'd be able to achieve the longevity of Alabama.

OBJ isn’t a booster and they were no longer players for LSU. Take that bitch argument elsewhere.
