He’ll be washing cars for a living in 3 years.

Quite a few of us tried telling the star gazers this kid is nothing but a problem

Not surprising at all

I think he's just taking the money and running. He's got paid off from LSU, Florida and Georgia, and still not on a team.

He’s like college version of Matt Flynn, wasn’t he getting paid by like three NFL teams at one time?

he needs to take the year off and get his mind right. really hope he gets it together because he has all the God-given talent in the world

Arik’s problems are gonna take a lot more than a year off to fix. He needs medication and serious psychiatric help. We had him on the right path with this stuff but his family insisted there was nothing wrong with him. They poisoned the well completely and basically gave him little to no option but to go to UGA. Now that he’s there I bet he’s off his medication and likely had another episode.

The kid really doesn’t deserve the hate or ridicule he gets, this isn’t a Perrilloux situation where he just keeps fricking up cause he doesn’t care, Gilbert’s got issues he can’t fight on his own. UGA definitely isn’t giving him the help he needs.

Seeing a kid struggle really gets your dick hard.

You need the help.

sounds like you have issues also. there are very few things in life smaller than sports. when you think otherwise, it's become your god.

I also work in the field …. Mental health is real as Arik probably needs professional help combined with medication

I have no idea what is going on in this kid's life, obviously he is dealing with some issues which is sad because the NFL was in his future. If he can somehow get it together, it still could be in his future, but things are not trending in his favor.

LOL at UGA fans who were telling me that they "stole" him from LSU.

JFC… it was a tongue in cheek comment on a sports message board. Get over yourself.

Maybe his body hurts, like how he quit us. Dude is not worth the headache. Throwing away millions. Don’t know if he legit has mental issues or is a diva, but glad he’s not our problem anymore.

At this point I just feel bad for the kid.

Something is not right, hope he can find the peace/support/whatever he needs to get his life back in track. With or without football.

Damn and you wasted money and 4 plus years to learn that. It took people on TD a couple hours to figure it out.

You fricking idiots. If either of you were Mental Health Professionals you wouldn't have made those statements. And how would you have the time being that you each command your own Seal Team 6?
